In fact, I haven't heard of one person who has met him who didn't just rave about how nice and humble he was, from people who were big fans of him before to people who have just found out about him after watching him in Parade or A life in the theatre. The fact he stays friends with all his former castmates lets me believe he must be a real great guy.

@elfhermie As for his musical background, he has told himself he had none and made jokes about his voice. He worked extremely hard and trained very hard to have the beautiful voice has has now, and it has paid off. That being said, even with the best coaches, if you can't sing, you just can't. The fact he sings so well means he did have some potential there and just needed training. The guy can now sing, dance and is an amazing actor, and everyone, critics and fans, have said it.

There are certain shows that need to be performed, and to be performed as often as possible. "Parade" is one of those magnificent phenomena. They need to revive it on Broadway, and I would love to see T. R. as Leo. At first I was leery, but judging by the (all too little) bit of "All The Wasted Time" you hear on this clip, I feel much better about the idea.

@jaspar38 I downloaded an audio bootleg of one performance. Not only does he perform "All the Wasted Time" well but his "It's Hard to Speak My Heart" is breathtaking. He probably does the best rendition of "Come Up to My Office" in comparison to his major predecessors (Brent Carver and Bertie Carvel).

TR danced "Come Up to My Office" quite well. I loved the rest of the interview, He was too kind to praise that awful funeral episode but I'm glad there's no bitterness on his part. He truly wants to move on. The bootlegs of his duet with Lara Pulver were wonderful. He sounds like he enjoyed returning to stage and tackling challenging material.

I'm currently in the Marietta, GA production of Parade and living so close to these true events really hits home. We are performing less than 2 miles from the lynching site and Mary Phagan's grave. This story is amazing and I'm so glad this phenominal show is getting another chance.

This show deserves a second chance on Broadway. This is the show of all time that did not deserve to flop. I could smack the person who insisted I pass on it that Christmas when I was in NY and saw over a dozen shows and had one free night left and he told me to see On the Town.

i saw it to and i am a HUGE t.r. knight fan, but he was so amazing and impressive! the play was mind blowing, its been three weeks and i'm still in awe. the whole case was so good! and afterwards i met him and i was basically hyperventilating, i was so excited because i admire him so much! and he was beyond nice, and he hugged me like three times to calm me down. he wasn't freaked out at all! ahh i love him!

I only went to see the play beacuse T R was in it.

I thought the play would be dark and depressing and not that good.I got front row seats. I ended up loving the play. It was so amazing. After I also got an autograph and a picture, he was really nice and an amazing actor.

I knew nothing of T.R.'s past as I never watched Grey's Anatomy. His just blew me away the first time I saw him as Leo Frank. He still does this to me. Parade's currently playing in L.A. at the Taper which is located at the Music Center. He's very sweet in person. I spoke with him briefly, he asked me my name then said that it was nice to meet me. This cast is first rate! T.R.'s AMAZING as Leo Frank!! I've seen it 3x with tickets in hand to see it 3more times. Woo hooo!

I've loved TR Knight's work since his days as George O'Malley on Grey's Anatomy. I saw this production on preview weekend at the Ahmanson in L.A. and IT IS AMAZING!!! I was fortunate to meet most of the cast, including TR Knight and the composer of the show (Jason Robert Brown) at the stage door. I can only hope that they decide to make an LA cast recording!!!
