Was a fan of the original Dark Shadows and I'm so happy it's being made into a movie. Of all the actors of today only Johnny Depp could play Barnabas, with his dark eyes and looks. I'm sure he'll do his own version of the character but the original show was back in the 60's and of course he has to update it to 2012. Love how he always mentions Jonathan Frid in his interviews, and that theoriginal Barnabas , Quentin, Josette & Angelique are making a cameo in the movie. Hope it's a big hit!

I was looking forward to the fmily but once I heard Tim Burton was directing.. I lost interest.. his movies I hate.(aside from BettleJuice ) and I saw a cast picture on youtube. and it's as I feared all cartoony and stupid. you compare that picture to the original cast and The original cast looks better. it was more serious.
