I really like this movie R.I.P. Bernie Mac you made this movie funny. Also I seen the real PDR team myself while visiting a friend who is a coach for a another team in my hometown of Philadelphia which this movie takes place in. Both her team and PDR currently share the same pool due to the fact Marcus Foster pool was shut down last spring because it was falling apart. If anyone sees this movie the real Jim Ellis himself makes a cameo in the scene before the boys go into the rec center.

Despite the fact that this is about a black swim team, i think that swimmers in general find it nice to finally hear about a mainstream movie about swimming. As a black competitive swimmer, I find this highly refreshing,but the ignorance that people still display makes me sick...No one is forcing you to watch this trailer and no one is forcing you to go see the movie. If you have nothing good to say about it, I really don't see why people are wasting their time ranting...

I swear to God I thought this was a comedy until the commercial ended without a punchline. It had Bernie Mac making fat jokes, Tom Arnold the coach of the "evil white swim team", THIS IS AHWR HOUSE, COACH chants, and the tear going down his face at the end. I actually started laughing when I saw the tear and then it ended. Everyone who was watching the Super Bowl with me went "Wait, this isn't a comedy?" when it ended.
