annie is bang on,its a peoples world not a mans world, put people in charge,im a dad and i wont a better vworld for my daughter,we need to be equal to survive, and come on guys, were all just booze hounds with our brains in our pants,im not joking, womens day,im all for it.
I read years ago that she did a song or two at her ex husband and bandmates wedding. That caught my attention about the type of amazing person she must be. She supports womens rights without leaving men out. I dont like most men. Yet they are our fathers etc. and deserve a voice too.
She is right about the ''bubble'' as long as people can watch the soaps or 'X Factor'' then nothing else matters and all is well. Take away those kind of distractions and people will actually be forced to think about things that really matter.
I love every line and crease on that beautiful face. A relief to see a famous face without the telltale marks of surgery. And it is clear she believes and feels every word she utters. Wonderful.
Yes, how shall we affect social "justice" for women??? Oh, yes, by making up more hysterical supremacist feminist lies about men, including fake pay and domestic violence claims... SEARCH youtube The Myth of Women's Oppression (and watch the other four key videos while you're there, from that host, thehappymisogynist - named that by angry feminists, mad as hell at him for telling and proving the truth and standing up for true equality - the last thing feminists would REALLY want)
@addvoc8 I don't think that what you said was my point at all. All I am saying is that you can't get to equality by setting a woman's day. Why should they need one? Is there a Man's day? THEY ARE EQUALS, and that's it, no matter what other people can think. Other thing is to fight women's oppresion, which I think does exist indeed.
So, if we have a day for fighting "machismo", that is great. Not a women's day, no gifts, no flowers, no "poor little weak sex day".
@Leoneldolara Agreed on having no womens or mens day = divisions and problems. BTW, there is no such thing as women's oppression, nor likewise the geneder pendulum (both myths spelled out in geneder studies textbooks, along with men abusing the most...): SEARCH: youtube The Myth of Women's Oppression. (watch his other 4 key videos from thehappymisogynist - named by angry feminists, mad as hell at him for telling & proving truth & standing up for true equality - the last thing feminists want)
It's very interesting in the end how she reacts to his "Happy aniversary", she quickly responds "To all of us" - "Men are welcome too", and a little glance meaning "f*, I don't know if they understood any word"... :-) Woops I think she's so right! A lot of people are giving roses to women on "their day"... still not knowing what this is all about.
Here in America, it's called Women's History month, but the reality is no one really knows it. There are limited events. And women are by no means considered equal to men. When we have women politicians who are turning "feminism" into a dirty word, it is just pathetic, because if it wasn't for feminism, they wouldn't even have jobs outside of wife & mother. I am a man, who came of age during the rise of the women's movement, and I am all the better for that.
when is the next womans day?
