  • Nice to see ladakh airport. Gilgit airport is the nly airport in these mountainous region which can't afford larger aircrafts. :-( .... Ladakh area is not as mountainous as pakistani side. Both Skardu and Gilgit airports are surrounded with very high mountains ....

  • I did this flight in 1974, when only IAF flew AN12s on mission. Much more scary then!!

  • Very nice video.....and good to see landing from right hand side. And yes it.s very funny to see (and fly) the approach on google earth.... the 2 gravel hills ( to the north of the landing strip) in the landing path is, clearly seen.
