yeah we get it, PC's have better graphics than consoles, but a PC that can play crysis 2 in 1080p HD will probably cost about 1000+ while a console is only about 250 bucks and it can still play crysis 2 in 1080p without any problem at all. I know this because I have a PS3 and I play crysis on my HDTV @ 1920x1080 resolution.Sure , I too would like to own a super high end gaming PC, but honestly, the huge amount you gotta pay for it, just aint worth it.

@shuraja7x No, your PS3 does not play Crysis 2 at 1080. Crysis 2 runs at sub 720 on a console, most likely 1024 x 720. The budget from textures alone at native 1080 would expend every single one of your consoles resources 5x over. There are very very few games that can run at 1080 on a console. It's simply upscaled. 1080 is a TV resolution anyway. 1920 x 1200 is a real resolution.

Well for one, PC can have better graphics easily, for a higher price of course, but that is besides the point. And if you wanted to use a controler other than a mouse, (Which just makes aiming in fps harder in my opinion) you can just plug one in.

what processor or graphics? it could be a 2.90 ghz pentium 4 and a 9500gt 1gb in wich case no you could not but if it is something like a 2.9ghz dual core and a 9800gt 1gb than yes you could. download the crysis 1 demo and if that runs smoothly on medium at native resolution (highest resolution that your monitor supports) than crysis 2 should run fine at gamer. personally I would recommend playing crysis1 first because it is better than crysis2 in story, evenly in graphics.in ways.

If you have a PC that is made this year it'll be definately better than a PS3 or a XBOX360. Wanna tell y'all why? It's because they're both releases 5-6 years ago, and will undoubtedly be struggling with what modern games require. Higher frame rate, better processer, etc. All of which current PC's have. If PS4 or XBOX720 comes out, it'll definately better than gaming PC's that'll come out that year, but will undoubtedly fall back after a few years. And also, it depends on the PC's and Cons.spec.
