Anyway, I got a PS3 because almost all good games are PS3/360 exclusives nowadays. :(

Weird, my hardware is very similar to yours, we even share the same CPU model, however I can't exceed the bareer of 20 FPS on max details. Well, my card is not OC'd, though. And I also faced some cpu overheating issues before, that's prolly why. Hell with that anyway, I bought my X360 not to care about such stuff.

E6400 is able to run almost all games on very high settings if you put it on a good card such as HD5770.

Ofc such cards are bottlenecked, my CPU is old tbh, but in gaming it is still pretty good :).

that depend on the games you play! my e6750 with 2,67 ghz + my xfx hd 5770 just get 20-30 fps in blur or gta 4 at highest or also middle settings (shadows off in gta 4). also in dirt 2 i just get about 30 fps at high settings with directx 11 enabled.

no.... not with highest settings but probably with medium settings.... 9400 is entry level card nowadays . try 2 update ur card and processor... as sempron single core is not suitable processor 4 games.....
