@Greendude33 The whole rear panel for the corvette ZR1 (if hes referring to that model) is plastic for weight saving. I assume the Z06 is the same

@Greendude33 true but the front bumper is also plastic on the ZR1, most panels of the ZR1 are carbon fiber and plastic if im not mistaken (which i probably am), true enough thats all corvette trolls use is the "plastic bumper" thing. Hell my cavalier has plastic bumpers, not as flimsy as the corvettes tho.

Anyways the Corvette is a good car regardless of its cheap weight saving parts.

@sexyboi142 No the front bumper is aluminum on the Z06 and ZR1 and steel on the GS and base model with the rest of the body steel sheet metal. On the Z06/ZR1 the front quarter panel is aluminum, the doors aluminum, roof carbon fiber (or magnesium on certain Z06 models). The rear quarter panels are aluminum and the rear spoiler is carbon fiber and the entire chassis is aluminum the hoods are carbon fiber and lastly the rear bumper is the only polycarbonate (Lexan) a strong expensive plastic.

The new 2013 GT-R does 0-60 in about 2.7 sec with launch control. These guys are noobs.

@remelsheikh 1-It's 2,84s with the LC4 launch control (the video title says 2.7), that can only be used 4 times in a row

2-Inside line times are averaged, the time of that 2.7 video was the best time they could get.

@remelsheikh conditions are key. The GTR couldn't pull off that number on an everyday street at a red light nor a lightly prepped track. Conditions are everything in order to pull of those numbers.
