@HawaiianRoss Yes...sometimes I feel I need one after playing with him, but I don't mind it all. He really doesn't give kisses either...if you want one...you pretty much have to kiss him LOL! I'm sure it would only take Puggy one good lick to get to the center of a tootsie Pop Ha!

I have never thought once of Puggy as a "Poor dog" as I know his tongue is fully functional and can see first hand that he is totally happy!! I hope this helps you to better understand Puggy in relation to his tongue!

@Thicite I appreciate your concern for Puggy, but I wanted to assure you that puggy's tongue does not effect his quality of life in the least and does no hinder his ability to lead a happy and wonderful doggy life. Puggy's tongue is fully functional and he suffers no ill-effects due to it's size; he's had approx. 10 years to adjust to his tongue size and has done so remarkabley well, so in his case, major surgical intervention is not justifiable nor necessary!

@bcortez21 I appreciate your concern for Puggy wanted to assure you that he has no problems with eating or drinking. Puggy is approx. 10 years old and has had 10 yrs to adapt to his tongue to his tongue size and has mastered the art of eating and drinking remarkablely well without an difficulties. Animals are resilient like that and can adjust when the need arises and puggy has done just that! He's happy and healty and that's all that should matter! : )
all dogs are the best.. matter of fact all animals are the best...on earth means in the world so am sorry u took my words wrong. at times what ui type can be taken out of contexed, if anything the ones with one leg missing or blind or anything to me are the best also, if not more, they survive and do with what they have and they are true little hero's... check out my baby squirrel, found her with her belly button still bleeding so had to be 1 day old , and have given her the best ever care..

Puggy manages Beautifully with his tongue and has adapted remarkabley well so it. that's the beauty of animals, they adapt when the need arises and puggy has done just that....it doen't stop him in the least from living a wonderful and happy doggy life with a family who loves him as he is! woof woof : )

@Thicite I appreciate your concern for Puggy, but I wanted to assure you that puggy's tongue does not effect his quality of life in the least and does no hinder his ability to lead a happy and wonderful doggy life. Puggy's tongue is fully functional and he suffers no ill-effects due to it's size; he's had approx. 10 years to adjust to his tongue size and has done so remarkabley well, so in his case, major surgical intervention is not justifiable nor necessary!

I think it sad.. It hurt my feelings.. He can't even eat without chewing on his own tongue.. It should probably be surgically cut shorter

@bcortez21 I appreciate your concern for Puggy wanted to assure you that he has no problems with eating or drinking. Puggy is approx. 10 years old and has had 10 yrs to adapt to his tongue to his tongue size and has mastered the art of eating and drinking remarkablely well without an difficulties. Animals are resilient like that and can adjust when the need arises and puggy has done just that! He's happy and healty and that's all that should matter! : )

all dogs are the best.. matter of fact all animals are the best...on earth means in the world so am sorry u took my words wrong. at times what ui type can be taken out of contexed, if anything the ones with one leg missing or blind or anything to me are the best also, if not more, they survive and do with what they have and they are true little hero's... check out my baby squirrel, found her with her belly button still bleeding so had to be 1 day old , and have given her the best ever care..

HUGE animal lover. u just to took my words and made it sound worse then it was. i am just saying the Best in show for the world record longest tongue. not the best dog ever.
