dont agree at all, if you watch him in interviews he is extremely likeable, a very nice and down to earth northerner, he is not at all "full of himself" though with this talent he has every right to be!!
I saw Paul Rodgers in a club once in Kansas City back in the 90's. He was a real gentleman on stage and I don't think I ever heard him hit a sour note all night...his voice was right on.
They never played Madison Square Garden on their tour with Paul Rodgers, the closest they got to MSG was either Nassau Collesium or the Continental Airlines Arena in Jersey.
Bad Co is just fine without Paul Rodgers. Robert Hart and Brian Howe were every bit as good. Point is Rodgers shouldn't have left Simon Kirke out to dry like that. Robert Hart could have been the singer for 15 more years if Paul Rodgers wouldn't have came back to stick around for a couple of years...
@ventureman2003 Mick and Simon knew PR was better. The Robert Hart Bad Co only made 2 albums and they did not sell very well. The 2nd album was so lame and spare of any good songs they had to redo several PR songs and a Vince Gill cover. Many rock stations are running specials on Rodgers 60 birthday the last week. I doubt if they will do that for Howe or Hart because lets face it, they are not going to be remembered that well.
Rodgers is very talented no doubt. But he is so full of himself, he's just not very likable.

Bad Company should move on without Paul Rodgers. If he wants to stay with Queen, Bad Co. needs a new singer now. Good bye Paul!
ventureman2003 5 years ago
There is no Bad Co without Paul Rodgers. The reason Paul united with Queen is because Paul was Freddie
Mercury's favorite singer and they felt it to be an honor for Paul to join them on their tour.

I still have to disagree. I saw Bad Co with Brian
Howe and in my opinion no one can compare to Paul Rodgers voice. However, we all have our preferences and that is fine. Besides, we really do not know
what happened between the band members, all
blame should not be placed on Paul Rodgers alone.
