  • lol it would be impossible for me to do that all day!!

  • tht has to be sooo boring doing that all day , but i am part of the air training corps and i have great admaration for any one of H.M armed services , likewise i have great respect for any other countrys soldier that is out in Afghanistan or iraq right now fighting for there freedom , well done guy keep up the good work

  • zajebiste maja chody xD

  • Oi mate

  • ha they have freaking bit hats

  • No discipline in the walk. Terrible. The sun set on the British Empire decades ago.

  • @onebrandofdemocracy what are you on mate...i guarentee you couldnt do this...I bet your a jelious american soldier or ex soldier who thinks hes the shit,..u aint..ur just shit..american drill honestly cant be called drill..u dont lift your legs up or swing your arms..i know some british regiments dont, but most do.

  • @onebrandofdemocracy Just because it's different, doesn't mean there's no discipline. Believe me, it's there. You'll notice the guards keep the exact same pace each time they walk, and they stay in step at all times.

  • @darkfyreaol They also arent allowed to get distracted either.

Thats what I have always respected about all of the 5 household regiments.

Wonderful part of the Brit Army I think makes me feel proud to be a Brit, once you embrace the history of this excellent country!

    God I love being British!

  • @andrew8833 If we're gonna be picky, -technically- there's no such thing as Household Regiments. There's the Household Division which consists of the the five Guards Regiments and the Household Cavalry (which is in turn made up of the Blues and Royals and the Life Guards. (Not trying to be a dick or anything =D)

  • @onebrandofdemocracy So did yours!!!!!!!!! Oh im sorry, you never had one. =D

  • this is brilliant, may traditions like this never die

  • Their uniforms are awesome. Wish that I could wear that instead of cruddy ACUs.

  • der sieht ja garnichts unter seinem Hut^^ außerdem läuft der wie ein Spast...

  • der läuft ja, als wenna besoffen wär^^

  • well done. respect to the Grenadiers! amazing troops

  • Smart,proud and British.Awesome.

  • proud guards and there just great

  • piss poor marchin :p

  • my dad is a grenadier guard.

  • Excellent, very professional troops. I would say on par or better than U.S Airborne. Highly respect these guys, they are combat infantry. They do this guard duty as part of their service. Idiot tourists do not show enough respect at times. I yelled at some fellow Americans last time over who were being morons-they just don't know they are combat troops. I saw some spanish speaking people being incredibly disrespectful-South America I think. I'd buy these guys a pint any day. Much respect mates.

  • They should repeate those things to them, when you are buying a pint for them, dont think the guardsmen would be so tolerent.

  • @giggedy4goo I watched a documentary on them today and that made me gain a lot of respect for them.

  • @giggedy4goo Better. Britain has the second highest power projection behind the US. Britain has a small amount (191,730) of very professional soldiers, the US has much greater numbers but generally less training.

  • if would be a piece of shit infront of them they would stand on it

  • teir being punished ..

  • Guard duty (or Public Duties Detail) is not a punishment. Guardsmen are proud to take part in it...stop existing and actually learn some time, you may enjoy it. A former Guardsman (Grenadier Guards)

  • great job :)

  • that would be teh most boringest jobs ever lol

  • I don't think spending most of your career in Afghanistan being blown up by the Taliban and so on is exactly 'boring'.

  • i wish i had one of those hats (:

  • Its not called a hat, or a busby. Its a bear skin. Originally made from the fur of the Russian brown/black bear. This was posted by an ex Grenadier Guardsman.

  • @agrafes6 But he's wearing it as a hat. So I'm calling it a hat.

  • The Proud uniform of the Guards' hard won Bear skin is not "just" a hat to them.

It represents years of tradition and pride

  • Just trying educate an ignorant tourist. Job done I think.

  • @agrafes6 Cool? Too bad I don't really care what their called.

  • sound like a fucking arrogant cunt have some damn respect their soilders who protact our country

  • fucking twat - why u gonna insult any british soldier - because thats what they are - british infantry, trained exactly the same, just that they do drill aswell - they may even be better than alot of the regular infantry, better than you i can guarentee!!!

  • great job...

  • what a boring job....lmfao..

  • que tortura!!!

    when he stops? never???

  • Not quite sure, but he talks a walk every fifteen minutes. I could minute each walk would last five minutes tops.

  • Pior é o tempo de ficar barado em pé. Marchar é um alívio, para circular o sangue nas pernas.

Torturoso imagino, fora que não pode rir nem nada.

  • Point taken. RedRaymaker is just a layman, not a military buff. Next time Red will go up and inspect the detail of the guard's badge in the hope of making such schoolboy errors. Hopefully Red won't be bayonetted in the process though.

  • Dont know from were you come from but THEY ARE THE ELITE GRENADIER`S as shown by their button spaceing, grenade on the collar and white plumes if you went up to him and called him a COLDSTREAM he might drop you one
