i havent seen "we are the strange" and i have difficulty downloading from itunes cause im in cyprus, but really, if the movies isnt liked by "large audience" it has more to do with the script, the story, rather than the artwork

cause most ppl are trained by hollywood to understand and digest stories not visuals or art video

maybe your movie is a long lasting art video, and again, people dont understand art usually

Don't give up on festivals altogether. Getting to Sundance was a hell of a coup for you, but please remember the smaller festivals -- and take it worldwide!

For example, Google for "flatpack festival" in Birmingham UK - I'll be going to see the new film from the ZX Spectrum Orchestra there. I bet those guys would love to screen WATS (although this year's schedule is full)... and that's a way to continue to build your buzz.
