I could not imagine running for 30 hours. I stop at a 1/16th ball...

I'm just finishing my CNC mill. 30 hours! wow that is a long cut.

I did it on a vertical machining center with a Mitsubishi control, ATC, etc. The time is pretty closely tied to the stepovers. I think I finished with a 3/64" ball endmill and .004" stepover.

what software did you use for the Lithophane?
Vectric PhotoVCarve. This litho took approx 30 hours to run on my CNC mill.
