Yeh I see what ya Mean.. It's a VERY Unique sound not only 4 this Time, but also it's Genre. It totally obscures it's own Origins.
Maybe its a Hammond Organ? Then again they didn't have Filters. :/
The Only thing that I have ever heard even in the Slightest is something called a Synclavier. But man.. You'd have to Roll with some rich people on sum high roads to get 1 of those. Unless it was a Studio Album & it was availible to them.
