  • Thanks for the video dude, my remote line is a little different so I figured out the parts that you didn't mention but you helped alot!

  • Please help my remote line doesn't have a slide check so here's the problem:

When I unscrew the part of the remote line that is on the tank attatchment, the air doesn't release on the tank so there is still air on the line. Only when I take the remote line off of the tank does it release it's pressure.

I don't know if this is normal, or if it will damage my tank o ring. Whoever can answer please do!

  • when i attach the cord to the tank do i keep my valave open or closed?

  • hey i have a remote coil right and when i turn it on air is leaking on the slide check or some what

    can you help me ?

  • Comment removed

  • /watch?v=6a52fiZ_Hro&feature=related , this is a repair on slide check. u only need 2 new O-rings on the side of the slide check very simple to repair

  • could you please tell me what size is the male connector at your marker is that a 3/8? thanks for your help

  • what is the safe way to disconnect a remote coil without a slide check? I cant seem to do it right

  • thank you soo fuckiing much ive never learn how to do this for like 3 months

  • when you hook up the remote line to the marker do you have to have an empty tank?

  • @sicslipkno555666 No?? You can have a freshly filled tank. Otherwise there is no point in having a remote line dude.

  • thanks for this video..there are so many basic things that starting players need...and this is one of them..thanks!..helped a lot

  • Yeah i messed mine up, took it off with out turning off air. Blew the O ring...... now what.

  • @ninjaredninja bring it to where u bought it and they will fix it

  • Hey, I bought a used remote set and put it on my marker. I've never had one before, so i don't know if this is normal or not: When I attach the female end to the male end, there is a bit of play where I can tug on the cord and the female end will slide up and down the male end a little bit, but not come off. I'm guessing that's not secure enough to be leak free? Or is it?

  • @GotischOberst - I'm gonna need you to be a bit more specific. The female end of what, connecting to the male end of what?

  • @JackRockBLC The female end of the remote coil connecting to the male end that screws into the tank adapter. When I pull the collar back to put the coil onto the adapter, it locks securely, but it can slide around a little. I know it's supposed to be able to spin, but I'm worried that if it can slide up and down like that (only a millimeter or so) that it will leak.

  • @GotischOberst - Gotcha. You're referring to the quick disconnect pieces. Most of the time, once pressured up, you will find it tightens up a great deal. Best bet is to hook it up, try it, and just be ready to turn it off at the on/off valve (at the tank end), just in case.

  • Great video man. I just ordered a harness that will come with a remote coil line that I will use with my X7 Phenom. Just wanted to make sure I had the info on the correct procedures. Thank you.

  • thx help alot

  • Thanks bud!

  • Thanks for this im new to remotehose usage and this vid was real handy dident even realise my hose had a slide check on it lol

    thanks again

  • Well it work on an azodin kaos

  • @ pub3296: It doesn't matter. Remote lines are equipped to handle both types of gases, since they are generally rated at 3000psi. Since the output pressure of both CO2 and HPA tops out at about 900psi, it'll be fines.

  • Is that co2 or HPA

  • Tippmann A5

  • AIR LINE TROUBLE. I have a BT Delta Elite and when I would shoot fast the air line was unable to deliver enough air resulting in the marker misfiring, and not auto cocking. It ended up being the Male end adaptor attached to the marker. I swapped with my friend and his worked fine even though they appeared quite identical. Inexplicably mine worked fine on his marker too.

just though I'd mention this in case any one else has had this problem also.

  • how to maintain remote linee ??

  • im having a problem with my remote line ASA.

when ever i tighten the knob to press down the pin on the tank, air escapes through the knob until it is tightened. i may have turned down the knob to far down in the past, but this hasn't happened before. also i accidentally drop my ASA one time..and the pin fell out..am i missing a o-ring that my have fallen out? (if there is) its a universal petrol brand asa. hope you can help me out

  • i once saw a kid useing a setup like that and he was useing co2 but he mounted the tank on his back up side down took a few shots then a loud shot and a bunch of hissing rember its liquid!

  • Comment removed

  • This is going to sound stupid, but i dont thing my remote has a oring at the quick disconnect, it just has like a metal band, like a keychain ring, but smaller, any ideas?

  • Nice Marker dude

  • Can someone tell me, if I put a M4 style stock on my A5, would I have to use a remote line, or would it be fine with the HPA bottle on the gun? Like would the botle get in the way of the stock?

  • But on my marker(x7 phenom) the valve is made to put a tank in not a remote line like his, will my remote line come with an adaptor if not wats the solution?

  • Can I attach a standard remote to an on/off asa so i wont need a slide check?

  • I just started paintball not to long ago. My question is......Can you have a remote line on a tournament gun or ONLY woodsball???

  • @FutabaKIKS both

  • can you just turn cut off the flow from the co2 tank to the gun with the knob thing then disconnect the female end from the gun that way ur tank is still full but ur gun doesnt have to be connected (btw if u dont know what i mean i can make a video) thanks and this is directed to jackrockBLC

  • @bmx5607 - Yes, you can. But most people carry their tanks in a vertical manner on their back. Reaching the knob without the help of a friend and/or taking the vest/harness off becomes rather difficult.

Also, not to mention that if you use the valve knob at the tank, the line is still pressurized. You lose that air, and still risk damaging some o-rings.

  • Weird, My a5 is like yours, with out the stock and wierd hopper.

  • Thanks for the vid it helped me alot.

  • can you give me some advice on how to use it wothout slidecheck?

when i connect it to my marker and pressurize it i can't disconnect.

i'll need to open the valve and shoot all the air out of my hose/marker before i can disconnect it. i think that's a problem cuz you're not allowed to shoot outside the field, and that would mean i can't put down my marker when i am not playing.

  • @WNxRadeon I'm afraid that's how it's done. I suggest performing this action as you're walking off the field, but will you're still on it. Turn off the remote at the valve knob, turn the marker upside-down, and fire until the air bleeds away. The only other way is to force it, which can damage your o-rings. Alternatively buy a slide check or ProConnect and install it on to the remote.

  • @JackRockBLC Ok thx for the information ;)

  • How do you disconnect the remote

coil, if you don't have a slide check?

  • Ive recently have purchased a remote line w/ a slide check. After messing with it a few times. I really wont be able to do a field test till this weekend. My question is there a resistence to the slide, w/ the air flowing through it or what? Im afraid im gonna run around and knock the slide check out of place...

  • @tubekyle2 What you'll find is that when it "airs up", there will be a lot of pressure on the slide check. When there's no air, it slides pretty easily. But with air in the line, you should de-gas the line with the method described in this video. Otherwise, it'll be quite difficult, but not impossible.

  • i have a wgp worr machine electronic marker im about to buy a remote line and 20 ounce c02 will the tank destroy my marker even if i use remote line or is it safe

  • @Swaggaficial

Actually, the remote line doesn't cause damage to a marker.

Though, I'm not certain if the WGP markers should be using CO2 at all.

  • It can be anywhere from $35 to $50.

    Online, or any paintball field/shop

  • WHERE do i buy a remote setup like yours? how much?

  • nice a5

  • Is it the same operation for CO2 and HPA?

Also, is it safe with CO2 if the marker releases it while your hands are near the disconnect?

Just want to know before I let my kids use it.

  • Yes, the operation is th same, regardless of whether you use HPA or CO2. The line is rated for about 3000psi, and the outputs of both of those types of tanks are no more than 1000psi (in extreme circumstances). Perfectly safe.

  • As for the quick disconnect, you'll find the pressure in an "active" line makes a really good seal, so it holds really tight. To get it off, you'll need to turn off the remote line's valve knob, dry fire the marker until it runs out of air, then remove the quick disconnect. It should come off very easy at that point, and without danger.

  • Thank you for the quick reply.

  • ok so if im using the remote line and its attached to my harness and im using co2 even if i put the gun barrel down can it freeze.....cuz ppl say that if you put your gun facing down the co2 leaks in the gun and destroys it

  • It will have a much harder time to freeze (which is good). The line provides some space for the CO2 to boil (expand), and gives it time to turn into a gas. This is not as easy to accomplish if you have a CO2 tank hooked directly to the marker. Also, even if you do have on-gun CO2, chances are the marker isn't destroyed, just some o-rings. Only higher end markers would be "destroyed", but the manufacturer tells you in the manuals that you shouldn't use CO2 AT ALL on these markers.

  • Seems interesting but what is the point of a system like this?

  • To reduce the weight in the arms. Not so much of a useful item for tourney players, but very helpful for scenario/big game players.

  • Oh cool. I see. I am a woodball player. So possible investment. But first I need to upgrade to a better gun. I have a JT Tac 5 Recon. Not bad but slow rate of fire. Put an electric hopper on it and it started shooting two balls at a time and reduced distance. Any suggestions? I am thinking of getting a Spyder.

  • If you have a tight budget, I would suggest a Spyder Pilot with ACS. Goes for about $100. and if you're looking for a remote line, NEVER buy from Ebay, buy from a Proshop.

  • Alright, thanks. I'll look into it

  • to move the tank from your gun to your belt. moving it out of the way and reducing weight... and doh someone already mentioned all this to you

  • Lol it's ok, I appreciate your time.

  • mine is basically the same only it doesn't have a slide check. When i disconnect it I usually turn off the valve, but then i just pull off the disconnect and then there's a big pop from air. Is this bad? am i doing something wrong?

  • I would suggest turning off the valve, then dry-firing the marker (with the barrel sock ON), until it no longer fires. Then remove the QD.

  • thanks, this helped me out a lot

  • does a remote line fit on ANY gun? thanks

  • yes

  • hi, i have a tippmann a5 with the extreme rage remote line.i dont have a inline stabalizer. but when i dissasemmble i pull slide check back it disconncets no problem but when i turn the valve counter clockwise my hose goes ballistic so its sitting idle right now because im afraid if i turn the valve all the way something bad will happen please help

  • do you know of any 4500 psi remote lines

  • There are none, because there is not a single tank that OUTPUTS at 4500psi. Those tanks STORE air at 4500psi. The highest output I've ever heard of was about 900psi. So the 3000psi-rated remote line is more than enough.

  • so the 900 psi would work for my ninja tank....?

  • @JackRockBLC

wow thanks I was wondering about that.

  • ok u said that ppl put the tank on their back, well what do they use to hold to on their

  • thanks this helped

  • Cocked and ready to go, lol

  • hey thanks now i no how to do it

  • Thanks a lot for this video

  • why does my coil become really tight and knot itself

  • whe nyou say keep the slide check back, does that mean expose the tiny hole or cover it and mine doesnt have a collar you speak of at 2:07 but i do have a slide check

  • thank you for posting this. very informative.

  • Thanks. I was struggling to get mine to work, and found your video. Very helpful and easy to understand. Thankyou :)

  • thnks.. should be basic no brainer.. but us newbs.. lol we keep comming back.. don't forget theres always a new wave of newbs...

  • Sweet i just ordered a remote line from special ops and its even made by them, but i do not have an air thru stock, i just ordered a CAR adjustable stock, would it be possible to connect the line from tank to somewhere else on the gun like where you regularly screw in co2 tank or anywhere else, and i do have expansion chamber on my a5, i know my friend connected it right out of the bottom of the expansion chamber somehow but i do not know how please help me, btw thx for tutorial 5/5 :)

  • thats a slide check coil its 30 bucks i have one

  • how did u get that front part on

  • what remote coil is that please respond.

  • Sweet Vid! I play airsoft, not paintball, but I use a gas sniper rifle with this setup its amazing. Really helped me on setting it up! Thanks

  • i nearly bust my damm remote line when i first got it\

  • nice vid man...if it wernt 4 dis video, i probably wouldve lost all my air

    lol

  • well genious, we dont have all the same shit as you

  • can someone tell me what is wrong with my coil remote im going to post a video

  • are all the remote lines the same?

  • Jack is it true that when you diconnect your air/co2 tank you have to fire the gun 3 times to shoot the exess air out of it because i got my paintball gun and then used it but my local paintball place said that with the a5 if you just dissconect the air without doing nothing the gun will blow up in some way. i am going paintballing with my new gun for the first time soon and i dont want it to die on me?please help thanks

  • u might blow the tank o ring if u just unscrew it... just pull the trigger a few times while unscrewing the tank.... better safe then sorry u know?

  • so wile closing the tank like every 2 turns shoot?

  • yo um i have the sp-1 by any chance would u know if i have to shoot my gun wile taking off the remote line and if u do at which part?

  • has you remote line got a slide check cause if it has when your finished with it just pull slide check back to degass it

  • what do u have to do if the air won't release after you release the slide check, because u said that on some markers it will release the air as soon as u pull the slide check back, but i was wondering what if ur marker doesn't release it

  • I have a RAP4 remote line and a co2 tank and when I connect the line to my gun first and then to my tank and all the co2 keeps coming out? can you help with that?

  • If it's a leak in the remote line, then you have to change the o-ring inside the quick release

  • where did u get your system from

  • i have a remote but i'm having some problems with mine. its makes my maker go crazy with CO2. can someone help me??

  • ya well ur pretty much fucked

  • well i got a new paintball gun and it works fine with that one so i just cant use it with the other gun. i dont know what happen maybe there was too much co2 in the tank i dont know but thanks anyway

  • the place where it attaches to the gun my remote line screws on and has everything yours does but woudl i ahve to change anything

  • is it the same thing for co2 tanks? after completely disconnecting everthing you can still use it later?

  • Buddy, thank you so much for posting this vid! I am a paintball noob and I DEF needed this info!

Would love to see your new vids!

  • how u take of male end?

  • This is a great video, helped me a lot thanks for posting it

  • Hey man, thanks I look at this vid every time before I go out shooting my gun just to make sure everything is right.

  • u CAN use it with co2 without it breaking?

  • hey i appreciate you doing this video i just got a RAP4 remote line and i dont know how to take it off WITHOUT the slidecheck and not lose any air it did not come with one please help i would greatly appreciate it

  • Simple fact is you are going to lose the air in the marker and remote line, if you don't have a slide check. Turn the on/off valve closed before disconnecting from your marker, though.

  • i need serious help, i have a brand new remote line with slide check and when i attach it to the tank it makes the noise like the air is going through, the hose moves and then nothing. No air will come out through the air line and unscrewing it is almost physically impossible, wat is wrong

  • Hrm. A lot of things could be the issue. Could be your tank, could be the slide check, and could be the on/off valve. Make sure you don't crank down too hard on the on/off valve. There's no reason to go to the fullest extent. Actually, it will usually be too much if you do, and you can either damage the tank or cut off your air flow. I would be this is the issue.

  • Thanks very much, i was thinking of taking it into a store and having them look at it but it's fixed now. The problem was with the slide check

  • i have a remote and im getting a hpa tank, will the guy at the fill station fill my tank up while my remote is on or do i gotta take it off to get my tank filled?

  • That one's tricky. MOST places will fill it with the remote attached, no problems. I KNOW there are no issues with it, and a simple logical thought-process leads to the same. HOWEVER, a few fields/shops refuse to fill with the remote attached due to (imo) unnecessary safety concerns.

  • can you use remote line with a co2 bottle ??

  • yes.

  • I want your remote line setup were can i get the in-line stabilizer?

  • nice gun

  • hey man i have the special ops a-5a2 that i just bought off a guy on a forum. he said it worked perfectly before he sent it to me. but i cannot get the remote to work. i followed all the instructions and it still doesnt work. i have asked the seller about it and he just told me exactly what was in this vid and then showed me this video. please help me out.

  • my remote line leaks out of the slide check

i just got this thing today and havent even used it, please help

  • Try taking it apart and oiling the o-rings. If that doesn't work, replace the inner o-rings in the sleeve.

  • and it was leaking like crazy out of the slide check

  • Whenever I see anyone use a remote coil, it is a tippman. Does that mean that only tippmans can use the remote coils? Will it work on my VS1?

  • Remotes will work on any marker with a standard ASA thread. Which is to say...almost EVERYTHING, save one or two.

  • when i tried using the remote ,oily shit started coming out of the slide check

  • Whoops. Forgot to say the rest. Yes, remotes will work on a VS1.

  • ok thanks, i was just wondering cus i have never seen it on anything other than a tippman

  • That's generally because Tippmanns are one of the most common markers sold.

  • i use a remote line on my smart parts sp-1 it doesnt matter it shud work on any gun

  • I am thinking of getting the inline stabellizer. What one would u reccomend?and do u think they are werth it? I only ask cause i c u have one.

  • Depends on the setup. If you want a true in-line (such as the one I have, on the remote), then I'd suggest Palmer's.

  • when i turn on my air should i screw that top knob all the way down or just till the air goes threw and then a little bit more??

  • will there be any problems if i hook up a 4500psi hpa tank up to a remote coil capable for 3000 psi

  • thats like asking will there be a problem if I take an elephant and try to put it into a mouses cage (it most likly wont work) but your question is dumber. Obviously the hose is rated for 3000PSI not 4500! you'll blow the hose apart, and you'll hurt or kill someone. DONT DO IT!

  • what kind of tank do you have? a scuba tank?

  • lol at myself for my stupid comment

  • I hope you can help me I have a shogun remote line with a slide check from rap4 I recently removed the slide check after having troubles attaching it Im going to try doing it with the slide check on after watching the video but it seems as if putting on or taking off the air tank from the remote line is always causing leaks. Another issue is the inner O-ring where the quick disconnect plugs into if you where to look into the hose is always misshaped after I remove the co2 tank please help!

  • hey i have a bt remote coil and i was wonmdering how do you get the slide check thats what i need that hose always releases my co2.

  • They are available on pretty much any paintball shop online, usually under "Air Systems".

  • i have a question... im getting a 4500 psi air tank, and you something about the coil can only have 3000, i just want to make sure if i get that coil the 4500 wont be too much and explode on me, thanks

  • Common misconception. 4500psi tanks do not PUT OUT 4500psi. Whether it's 3000 or 4500psi, they only put out a maximum of 1000psi. WELL within the limits of the remote. The 3000/4500psi notation is about storage, not output pressure.

  • It did help! I'm a noob to paintball but I've collected all this stuff, including a remote line and I dont want to look like an idiot on my first time going out not even knowing how to work my equip. thanks man 5 stars

  • did you paint your marker?

  • I did. I've since re-painted it black.

  • To disconnect would be turn off air>shoot gun (no paint)until air runs out>disconnect air.

  • thanks for this video, I was confused as to the proper procedure for doing this.

  • So, you don't have to shoot out the air or is that just because you have an air thru stock?

  • My regulator (Palmer's) doesn't hold air, unless it's under pressure. So when I turn the air off at the slide check, there's no pressure, and the air releases.

  • do most remote coils attach to co2 to

  • They attach to anything with ASA male threading. It doesn't matter what's inside the bottle, just what the threading is.

  • does the PMI pure energy remote line come with a quick disconect?

  • Yes, it does, like most remotes do.

  • ok thanks

  • Should you always cock your marker before you air it up, because i never do? If so why?

  • Yes, because it the marker is supposed to let air through when the bolt is forward. By pulling the marker to the cocked position, all the seals line up.

As for the camo, no I've never been to EW.

  • is that camo from the special ops elite weekend? What brand of remote line would you request for me?

  • My remote line seems to be leaking near the slide check. What do I do? I am new to paintball and need help. Thanks!

  • Disassemble the slide check, check your o-rings, and oil them. Replace one or both, if necessary.

  • Thank you very much! You are a big help!

  • i want a Air Thru Stock but i dont like the ones of specialopspaintball. Is there any other opcions??

  • I know UMS has a few, but they'll be pricey. But you will get what you pay for. Might check out Metadyne, and Rap4, as well.

  • i have a response trigger but i was wondering if i have a remote line would it affect the time it takes to shoot or if its just not a good idea to have one

  • No, the remote, properly maintained and installed, will not affect the RT.

  • i have a differnt one and it dosnt go on the back of the gun it goes where the hose goes when u put the co2 on at the bottem of the gun

  • It's the marker that chooses where it goes, not the remote. The one shown can go anywhere you place the ASA adapter. Fairly shortly, all my videos will be re-done with stock A5 parts, and produced on DVD. Stay tuned :D

  • For the standard A-5. When installing the remote, would you want to remove the gas line, and attach the remote to the tombstone adapter? Or leave on the gas line and attach the remote on the tank adapter?
