I've noticed something - When you set a browser as default it ends up faster... Or that might just be my mind playing tricks on me.

You know I think you just might be right. Now that Google Chrome is gaining poplarity (just passed Safari and took third place), extensions are being released and with Chrome on Linux and Mac OS X I don't see much space for Firefox.
