You sir, are an idiot. All 3rd gen rx7s are AT LEAST twin turbo since that is what they were stock. The problem here is probably that it's bone stock (maybe some exhaust or intake upgrades but that doesn't do shit without a ECU). In any case stock FDs probably put down 215ish to the rear wheels. A WRX with a VF39 would have no problem putting down 300 even with the huge AWD drivetrain loss.

And btw I own a WRX and a FD.
