  • It was definitely a little too fast. At the part where the Tenors echo the Basses (a star, did shine), it was like they were trying to have a race. Very well rehearsed though!

  • They prob sung it so fast to avoid going flat. At least that was our problem way back when! It's a hard song.

  • @SariWx Not really. I like it faster than it is generally performed, but on that day....we basically lost control of it until (faster....faster......FASTER!!!!) it was over! (Whew!!!). Next time I perform this song it will be considerably slower than this!!

  • WAY TOO FAST

  • I like it way better at this speed, then the slow camel trott speed recommend. a gallop pace just makes more to me.

  • good song, sung well, but wayyyy to fast. and at parts i believe they lost control of it =\

  • My chorus just did this peice last week and once you learn it, it helps you appreciate it

  • AHH! i just sung this song for our christmas song but it wasnt this fast!

  • I love this song, though this particular version was fast. Good job overall!

  • our hs concert is singing this song this year. extremely fast. super. and really loud throughout most of the piece as well. i find it awkward. our choir actually got to speak to the composer about all of the musical aspects and such. it was a lot of fun to hear his ideals for how he intended the piece to be "like a caravan coming and going" overall though, i love this performance. its a fun song. well done

  • How wonderful that you got to meet the composer. I'd like to get a copy of the music--who is the composer? It's beautiful!

  • THis song was sung very well but I think it was sung extremely fast!
