  • Have your own Japanese teacher that will teach you the language, virtually "on call" 24 hours a day! See the video - youtube.com/watch?v=wfseANZtMNg

  • Your video's are amaziiing!! Thanks for our lessons!! :3 Great job!! ;D

  • Hajimemashite=hand me my shit lolol

  • You pronounce the words so well! I use to be able to, but I don't know what happened. Thank goodness for your videos though...

  • how do say maria instead of mary in japanese??

    thanks you

    great stuff

  • @occaligirl714mia Probably Mariia, but there aren't really any set rules for transliterating into Japanese. :)

  • Question What does Onegaishimasu mean? I kno That Usually Ha Jimemashite Douzo Yoroshiku are usually Put together in a sentence.....like said one after another???

  • onegaishimasu comes from the verb "onegai suru" which means (to ask for a favor/ to make a request)

The word onegaishimasu is very flexible so it can be used in many situations. It can mean "please treat me kindly" "please do this for me"

    * It is always used to make a request/ask for a favor. Onegaishimasu is a polite word, and that is why it is placed at the end of douzo yoroshiku when meeting someone for the first time .

  • O ok thank you now I got it lol

  • how do u pronounce desu when reading the whole sentence?

it sounds just like des without the U, why?

    thanks a lot

  • @occaligirl714mia In Japanese, the u's and i's are sometimes not pronounced, especially when they come at the end of a word. (Example: "sumimasen" is pronounced more like "smee-mah-sen".) There's no reason for this--I guess it just makes the speech flow better. It's kind of like how in American English, t's are sometimes pronounced like d's.

  • dude for real , thank you for the clear explanations. You are good !

  • ...i love you....

you are the reason i speak this language today.

    so, just to say,

    i love you

  • How sweet :) Thank goodness you are motivated to learn the language , keep trying hard ok. Ganbare! (hang in there) and soon you will be a pro.
