Can you lighten your hair with hydrogen peroxide?!

Spray it on enough to dampen it and do it a couple of times a day and in a few weeks it will be several shades lighter. However, it takes many applications over several weeks. Not just an hour or a couple of times.

you guys screw this method use "blue bleach" its safe on your hair an you can put other dye on top of it within the next 7 to 14 days. Peroxide use like that can an will damade your hair.

best way to do this is to get powder bleach and add the peroxide to it=) it works better then the actual mixing stuff u add to the powder =)

When I was younger my grandma told me to put it on my face to help with my skin and I did it without knowing it had this affect on hair! I put it all over my face everyday. Once I went to school after summer was over, I looked like a freak with no eyebrows because they got so light and I didn't notice! But now my eyebrows are back to normal and I use the color on my hair. It looks a little more orange than blonde on mine but it still looks great and I get compliments! (:

my hair was dyed dark brown,i left it to grow out my natural color for a year, so the top of my head was light brown- my natural color, n the bottom was dark brown( the dyed part) i got a full head of blonde highlights at hairdressers, so the top of my hair is now really blonde and the bottom is light brown/ dark blonde. i am getting another full head of highlights done again in 8 weeks. will doing another full head of highlights make all my hair blonde? i want all of my hair blonde.. ?? x

Question!!!! Ok so I wana do a streak a bit under my hair. So every day I take hydrogen peroxide and put it on a q-tip. (it's a pretty small streak I'm testing) but how wet should the streak be? Should I wash it out then blow-dry or just blow dry? And what happens if I don't rinse it out? Thanks for the help!!!!!

iv done this , all you do is get out of the shower , and then spray your hair when it dries . you dont wash this out , till your next shower the next day or two . if you comb it out then go into the sun , it makes it even lighter , my hair was dark brown ( level 3 ) and is now a carmel . ( keep doing this for about 1 week )

your hair must be crap if it breaks in the sun. i used it multiple times and my hair was fine it just turned an orange color but no breaks, the first time it was darker the 2nd time it was much much lighter

also it can remove dye (color) (green blue red ect.)
