My mom works in local government in the UK. She is the leader of a large city council. Every year she attends a drill for EMERGENCY CONTINGENCY DISASTER MANAGEMENT. Here, along with other officers of the council, she acts out what they do if there were a disaster. (eg nuclear war or severe weather which causes fuel, food, water shortages). Governments need to go on. Every government agency does this. Its not because its going to happen. Its because its best to be prepared incase things go wrong.

While we're all told that China is the new economic superpower. Maybe, China was just a smokescreen to secretly ship in these materials? All planets show some warming. The cause is yet not been stated clearly to the general public.
After an EMP event such as with a flare, smaller items like transistor radios and such which were not connected to an outside antenna should work. To insure this, package one covered in aluminium foil. Old tube radios will work just fine - again if they were not attached to an outside antenna. Flashlights should be fine, but keeping one in your refrigator will protect it from any pulse. KD5KZL

It's a comet, not a drown dwarf. What NASA doesn't understand is that a comet is not a "dirty snowball" but rather a highly negative charged rock that reacts with the positive solar wind as it enters the inner solar system. That's what causes the tail, which always trails out from the direction of the sun no matter what direction the comet is travelling.
