he jumps in then does about 90 laps gets out shakes next to every1 and goes back for another 90 =)

o right then pees for about 30 min without stopping cuz he drinks ALL the pool water

legendary... you should gradually take your dog in with you and calm him or her down in the presses of bringing him or her in. dont let it back away just take it slow and you will be alright.

Love this! My GSD needs to touch bottom also. She goes in the ocean too far, but that's the only place she doesn't worry about touching bottom. She's less comfortable in a pool. WHY????

My GS loves water but only if she can touch the ground. She will go into the ocean and jump waves but will not go to far out. She will swim in rivers but put her in a pool and she will only stay on the steps and if you carry her into the pool she freaks out and crys.

My GSD used to love water when he was a puppy like up to 12-14 months. Now (he turned 8yo yesterday) it takes 3 people to drag him to a batch tub to wash him. We do it once a year during summer and after the bath the dog seems offended at us for a day or two :)
