That Evo is the prettiest 4-door currently made, and is plainly sharper, faster and better round a track. The Subaru looks like a Nissan Almera with an ill-fitting widebody kit - and apparently drives like one too.

It's up to you to decide if you want to make the sacrifice in price and comfort for better performance and appearance (IMO).

I would take the STi, because you get the same taste but it's not as concentrated.

Iv driven both the new evo 10, the new sti and i own an evo 9. the evo 10 is insane, corners like a house fly, the sti's handelling is much worse than even my evo 9, but its response is nice. but neither wowed me enough to upgrade from my evo 9 :D

That said , having a manual or a auto , it's still driver's input which decides how it will deliver. Not all racingcars are purely manual ...look at rallycars and many others on the tracks, they're sequential aswell .

The evo used on top gear was not your standead evo, it was the fq 360 worth about 10k more than your standard, making it then about 25k more than the sti, all around the sti is the better car for its price, if i had limitless money yeah the evo for sure. but sti is better band for your buck.

Clearly, Tiff did not read or gotten properly introduced to the EVO's tricked tranny, It does have launch control and it's not an Autobox it's a Dual clutch tranny. and btw, might wanna turn off the stablity control before u attempt the hand brake turn please.
