Please forgive my ignorance. Pattinathaar was a Self-Realized being who knew the secret of life. I am surprised that such a being is portrayed here as mourning and crying over his mother's dead body and cremation thereof. Especially where he says that he can't bear that wood and sticks being place on her body and instead asks for plantain leaves. Pattinathaar is supposed to know that the body is only a disposable vehicle for the eternal soul. It is not in his history. Very cinematic & commercial
