I remember going to see this on a damp Saturday afternoon in London back in '68; Happy Days! xxxx - you were my Jaqueline! I went and bought the soundtrack the next week.
Wow, this was a treat to stumble across. This is one of my lifelong favourites. I only have a really dark and grainy VHS copy. Seeing it like this was great. I love that theme song too. I am blessed to have the entire soundtrack on vinyl LP.
Stylish 60sexploitation movie epitomising the late 1960s drowning in hedonism & freedom with more hate than love in that era.Seen it only once wish they'd put it on late night t.v.!
Entertaining '60s lightweight drama with Tony Franciosa as an aging tennis bum, Michael Sarrazin as his young protege (a beach bum who aspires to be a tennis bum), Bob Denver doing his loveable-moron schtick, and Jackie Bisset as a gorgeous piece of tail (in her eye-candy days, before she learned to act). Sarrazin and Bisset were an "item" at the time this movie was made. He was almost prettier than she was!
Michael Sarrizan died this year.

The Sweet Ride was made by Twentieth Century Fox. I wonder when it will be on television again..

The Sweet Ride was made in 1968, and it's the only R rated film with Bob Denver.

My favorite singer and composer Lee Hazlewood wrote the title song. With Dusty...it's the best of both artist.

I've been wanting to see this movie for years now. ANY idea where I can find it?? Most of Michael's movies are just MIA.
