  • Michael Sarrizan died this year.

  • ooh Mr. Clean was hot!

  • I remember going to see this on a damp Saturday afternoon in London back in '68; Happy Days! xxxx - you were my Jaqueline! I went and bought the soundtrack the next week.

  • Wow, this was a treat to stumble across. This is one of my lifelong favourites. I only have a really dark and grainy VHS copy. Seeing it like this was great. I love that theme song too. I am blessed to have the entire soundtrack on vinyl LP.

  • The Sweet Ride was made by Twentieth Century Fox. I wonder when it will be on television again..

  • The Sweet Ride was made in 1968, and it's the only R rated film with Bob Denver.

  • In The Sweet Ride, Bob Denver plays Choo Choo Burns.

  • love this film! sarrazan and bissette are stunningly sexy looking!

good story line very dreamy 60's carefree feel beach , fun, glamour youth it rules.

  • Sweeet Ride!

  • Wow this is very high quality picture! Where can I find a copy of this film in such good quality? It's not available on DVD

  • My favorite singer and composer Lee Hazlewood wrote the title song. With Dusty...it's the best of both artist.

  • Love the song...Dusty sings it beautifully...what a voice.

  • I've been wanting to see this movie for years now. ANY idea where I can find it?? Most of Michael's movies are just MIA.

  • One of my special favorites... so much fun, I just wanna be there in the midst of it all!

  • Why do I like this movie soo much. I guess it's the Bu vision. Dig?

  • Stylish 60sexploitation movie epitomising the late 1960s drowning in hedonism & freedom with more hate than love in that era.Seen it only once wish they'd put it on late night t.v.!

  • font used was cooper

  • What a groovy movie, man.

  • Great condensation-love Moby Grape as the band

  • Looks like Bob "little Buddy" Denver wuz tokin'sum weed in this one!

  • R.I.P. Bob Denver aka Little Buddy, Gilligan & Anthony Franciosa.

  • @frankd1965 also R.I.P. Michael Sarrazin

  • Reminds me of Nancy's Shu Shu Shu Shu Sugar Shack!

  • Marvelous performance by Dusty! The song was written by Lee Hazelwood.

  • Lee also wrote Houston for Dean Martin and a lot of stuff for nancy Sinatra.

  • Entertaining '60s lightweight drama with Tony Franciosa as an aging tennis bum, Michael Sarrazin as his young protege (a beach bum who aspires to be a tennis bum), Bob Denver doing his loveable-moron schtick, and Jackie Bisset as a gorgeous piece of tail (in her eye-candy days, before she learned to act). Sarrazin and Bisset were an "item" at the time this movie was made. He was almost prettier than she was!
