America produces real metal, while Europe experiments. Sweden has got all the fake Melodeath bands and Norway has humoristic Black Metal. America has Slayer, Metallica (I know, but still sort of metal), Anthrax, DÅÅTH, Job for a Cowboy, etc. They also, of course, have some experimental metal/rock bands like Tool. Melodeath, such as Shadows Fall. I'd deffinitely vote for American Metal, rather than European.
