The Harry Potter books have touched my life more than anything. I was so sad when Fred lost his life. He is the other side of the coin for George. I can't imagine a George without Fred, or a Harry without Hedwig. The most terrible thing was Snape's death, risking his life for the son of someone he loathed so much, but also the son of his only love. We all thought Snape was evil. J.K Rowling showed how wrong we can sometimes be. J.K Rowling has proven perfection is an understatement.

Every time I think of Fred dyeing, I think of how George was left behind. Think of the survivors guilt he would have. Not only has he lost his brother, his best friend but his other half. They say that one twin cannot survive long without the other.

@ultivath I don't agree with alot of the deaths that occured, but I understand WHY she did it. The books from 5 onwards are set during a war. You can't have a war without casualties on either sides. It was necessary to kill some characters to make the books realistic, not idealistic. And it's also proof of her skills as a writer - the fact that she could make us feel something for the most minor characters shows true talent and the way she pulls each death off so, so beautifully is amazing.

He has to because he is also a Horcrux. When Voldemort killed Harrys parents and was also killed part of his soul entered Harry.
