MSF Natural or mineral makeup in general i heard can wash you out in flash photography. im using this as my highlighter/contour powder for matte finishes. Do you think i should steer clear? what do u use or recommend for highlighting using powder? Thank you!
would either of these work for a summer foundation? im currently using face and body but id like to get a powder as well and im out of my summer powder so i am currently on the prowl for a new one. hope to hear back!
@DamnBitchtv Totally depends on how much coverage you need and what kind of skin you've got. My skin isn't oily and I don't sweat much (we also don't have much heat or humidity where I live). I could wear these fine here, but someone else living someplace else might not be able to. They're a safe bet though :)
@dustyohunter i live in la and sweat like a farm animal in the million degree weather but the girls at my mac said itd be fine. idk whether to trust them or not though.....thanks so much!
@hoppyhugs I missed this one! :) Yes they are fine for dry skin, just make sure you're well moisturized beforehand. If you have trouble with powder foundations feeling itchy, this will feel similar (though I don't think as bad as many mineral foundations).
I was going to wait and see if anybody asked this in one of the other videos before I asked myself but I'm too impatient! What did you do to the end of your brushes?! It looks awesome in the brief flashes I've seen so far.
@xTenshiko Thanks! It's decoupage. I need to ID them as mine but I didn't want to do the same old nail polish thing that everyone else does. I have a video on it that I have filmed... Just need to edit - Will probably be on-line in the next week or two actually :)
@dustyohunter wow! i was going to ask the same thing!! haha! it's cute that the end of your brushes are all marked like that! :) i was actually thinking of the same way i could personalize my brushes but not by doing that nail polish thing at the end.. :P
This is absolutley what I'm looking for! Honest opinion, not an advert :) In my country MAC is expensive like crazy, they don't sell their products online so if I want to buy a foundation I have to drive 5 or 6 h for it :( and lady in a store always says: "All MAC foundations are great! Just pick your color"
So THANK YOU Dusty and since this video you are my "Alfa and Omega" :D
thanks for your video advice. I brought the MSF natural before and kinda didn't know what to do with it so ended up giving it away and I have brought the other mineralize foundation and the colour wasn't right. I'm a guy who wants something just to even skintone and look natural and look like nothing is there. I found the MSF too chalky looking after I applied it (I suspect I used too much). Can you help??
@JGshowboi Hey there! I would steer your towards two products if you want to stay in the MAC family. Either Face and Body (no powder needed, looks just like your own skin, light to medium coverage) or Studio Moisture Tint (even lighter coverage than Face and Body AND it's readily available at counters, Face and Body is a MAC store or online only purchase). If you need a little powder to cut the shine, my personal favorite is Blot powder because it doesn't LOOK like powder when it's on.
I love MSF Natural and more often than not, I use it alone as my foundation. Also, I bought my current one in February this year and have used it pretty much every day since then and I've still got half of it left, so it's excellent value.
