This song was hardest for me, because we had 1st violin, second violin, and played in concert and when you hear everyone else you almost play with them. But I think she's doing pretty good!

I think part of the screeching is because (if you watch her bow) it's not going straight, but kinda all over the place. But uh, I've played the violin for like... 9 years and I still do that. :P So yeah I'd say she's doing quite well.

At that time, we felt the tempo was ok. But, it could be a little faster.

Actually, we thought Hannah played a bit slow with other piece (Bouree - other Video), but not this one.

actually I believe that children at this age better to play slow because they can express better. I usually don't let my students play very fast until they are much older. besides,who is eligible to decide what tempo is good what tempo is bad? every person is different. we choose the tempo according to what our body is the most comfortable. I don't know when people make standards for things.

Thank you. You are absolutely right. I usually ask her to play slower with practice, but whenever she plays in front of people, camera, she starts to play faster.  Also with fast tempo, she is too busy and start skips lot of things ;)
