so basically you have to plan weeks in advance to turn this phone on? it took 2 mins just to boot? and i've seen other vids when it shows them making a call on it...you press the buttons and a second later it shows up on the screen.

You normally don't need a smartphone/PDA to boot fast. A phone is almost always turned on, while a PDA is suspended most of the time. It usually takes a couple of seconds to go to sleep, or to wake up.

True, but it's a developers phone, probably it has all kinds of debugging turned on and stuff. Once this will be in stores, it should behave a lot better :)

Even if that should be true for the release version... the price of freedom.

I don't care if it boots longer if it doesn't crash a trillion times a day like some of the Windows based phones do. And if i don't like an aspect of it, then i change it. People never seem to get that freedom is a feature as well... a killer feature imho.
