They did not give audience members 3D glasses for viewing Watchmen. 3D glasses are only for films designed in 3D which are projected using special polarizing projectors. Watchmen was not photographed in 3D, making it impossible to have been projected in 3D.

Monsters vs Aliens was, indeed, in IMAX 3D. I did not see it though.

You are not alone if you do not care for 3D films. Many people find them distracting or headache inducing.

Even if I hadn't seen Watchmen in IMAX, the film was not photographed with 3D cameras, therefore it is IMPOSSIBLE to have been projected in such a manner.
