Thousands of people have been working on the LRO project and it really isnt that difficult to believe. The camera is huge considering the camera you can fit in an iphone today. You will see the newest images wich are very clear and shows the footpaths, the landing modules perfectly matching the description and earlier statements. You can also see the ALSEP equipment where the retroreflectors are located. Where laboratories still today shoots laser that are reflected by the equipment to measure the distance of the moon.
