this year i had a 2 wd x trail hire car for a trip in Kruger national park - what a dissapointment it was ! vowed never wanted to see another one - but just four months ago i brought a 2004 japan only spec x trail GT 4wd with 2ltr turbo, 280 horses, jap body kit and stiffened lowered suspension and boy am i one happy OAP!!
The only thing I regret about buying an XTrail was not getting the 2500 cc engine. My 2000 cc could have used the xtra 500 cc. Other than that, great elegant SUV. Check my postings :-)

Wouldn't say the X-Trail's ability was pushed to the limit there or it's the best SUV around but very good 4 sure...
