  • Nice!

  • @eiddnaffokcuf Thanks! :)

  • Wait... a Buddhist, who is an all out in-your-face Atheist? So... he isn't a Buddhist then. Buddha taught MANY times that you weren't supposed to concentrate on whether or not there is a God. He didn't CARE whether or not there was a God. >_<;

  • @violetkitten831 I don't know much about Buddhism, but if indeed it's true that he's in violation of some central dogma of it, and if I had to wager a guess, my guess would be that his dislike of dogma in general outweighs his devotion, even to Buddhism. Just guessing of course. You'd have to ask him to be sure.

  • @violetkitten831 I don't care if there is a God or not. What I care about is truth.

  • @SnowWalkerOne I can understand that. I've just never heard of a Buddhist who uses "In-your-face Atheism". (Check this vid's description) No insult to you, it's just that Buddha didn't think we should spend our lives seeking out answers about God and the afterlife, but should instead seek to obtain inner peace in the here and now. Buddha was not an Atheist. So, isn't spending time and researching something we couldn't possibly understand, not very Buddhist?

  • @violetkitten831 Buddha taught there is no need for a all powerful deity; and Buddhism does not require subjugation to an imaginary being. Which would make Buddha an Atheist in my book. And I am a terrible Buddhist. ;)

  • Sounds like the guy from "you don't know Jack show"

    Well done, funny as hell.

  • @redshift40 Thanks a lot :)

  • This was brilliant!!!!!!

  • @FromOutsideTheBox Thank you very much :)

  • you sir, are one of the most underrated youtubers.

  • @BillKiernan Thanks a lot :)

    Cheers!

  • @kjlg74 suuuuubscribed.

  • @BillKiernan Thanks :)

  • @SuperSoylent I have to admit I am a bit behind in the wood chopping. Was gone for the last month and a half. I have lots of catching up to do.

  • This video kicks ass! Damn!

  • @0MysticalMonkey0 Thanks, MysticalMonkey! :)

  • @SuperSoylent My old friend, how are you? I've missed you guys.

  • @SuperSoylent Thanks a lot, SuperSoylent!

I'm sure you'll think of something. I've seen what you can do :D

  • this video is bad ass! you rule! :)

  • @greatweick Thanks a lot! :)

  • @greatweick How is the West coast treating you? Been doing any fishing? Fungus hunting? Seen any Aliens?

  • @SnowWalkerOne love it! fungus is great here. i found a variety of that tooth fungus you pointed out on you mushroom video. it was excellent. :) im going to see if it re-grew right now.

lookin forward to seeing some new vids from ya. :) give jupy dog a scratch behind the ear for me.

  • @greatweick Oh the tooth fungus is one of my favorites. Glad you liked and didn't poison yourself in the process. :)

  • @SnowWalkerOne oh ya. my grand parents were wild mushroom hunting freaks. i have a couple of their old books. one from the early 80's and one from 71. brings back old memories. :)

  • @greatweick Keep your eyes open, cause that toothed fungus can be collected all winter long if the weather stays temperate.

  • I LOVE this! My first comment in 5 weeks, and this is the BEST video anyone has ever made of me. Wow! I am honored, truly. Thanks a lot man, this ROCKS! Featuring this now. I am BACK from the forest and ready to RUMBLE!!!!! This is SWO and I approve of this video.

  • @SnowWalkerOne Thanks a lot, SWO! :) I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Your channel is awesome! I very much look forward to watching your new videos. You totally crack me up :D Cheers!

  • @SnowWalkerOne Just do a video already LOL XD

  • @lapkine77 I've got one planned very soon my friend.

  • Best animation to day! So much motion! I love snowwalker one as well. I'm really looking forward to his return :D

  • @FHomeBrew Thanks a lot :)

Yes, me too. Can't wait to hear about his adventures when he gets back. Maybe he was abducted by aliens or ran into bigfoot, who knows ;D

  • @kjlg74 How did you know about the Aliens? ;)

  • @SnowWalkerOne I tune in to Radio Plejaren by applying the Hutchinson effect to my fillings. God taught me how to do it one day during a game of poker ;)

  • @kjlg74 I still get humans who demand I explain to them how I duplicated the Hutchinson Effect. They fail to understand the whole mess is a fake. Sometimes I wonder why I even try. :)

  • @SnowWalkerOne If you can convince people of flim flam while actually trying to debunk it, imagine how easy it must be for charlatans to fool people (or fool themselves). It is a sad state of affairs, for sure.

The skeptic / atheist crowd seems to be growing all the time, though. There's still hope! ;)

  • @kjlg74 If the Aliens ever show up, the humans will be lambs to the slaughter. I am reminded of "To serve humans"

  • @0MysticalMonkey0 If it ever comes to that, I will baste myself in whichever sauce the aliens like the least, lol ;P

  • @kjlg74 I hear that NaCl is toxic to them. Oh wait that was a sci-fi movie. Those things are all real, right? Then again that critter in Star Trek LOVE salt. Shape shifters I guess LOVE salt. Silver should work, or maybe that was just for werewolves. We are all DOOMED, DOOMED I TELL YA!

  • @SnowWalkerOne LOL, I'll wear a necklace with each bead containing an element from the periodic table. Whatever poisons them might accidentally get created while they chew me up. Small consolation for my soon-to-be-chewed self, unfortunately :(

  • @FHomeBrew I'm back buddy. ;))

  • @SnowWalkerOne I hope you took your camera or at least a diary back into the woods. I'm excited to hear about your adventures and the thins you may have to teach. Btw, I don't think a lot has happened on youtube. At least not on the channels I'm subbed to. We were all waiting for you it seems :p

  • @FHomeBrew I did not take my camera with me for reasons that I am unable to expunge upon right now, but in a few months it will all become crystal clear. However I do have some new videos planned, so fear not the Giant Magical Space Chicken will rise again. I have some cooking videos planned, (Snowwalker Style), and my own special insight into the more random stuff.

  • I fucking love his voice... sounds like a conspiracy theorist character from a movie or video game. :)

  • @TheAlaricPetz LOL! He is a riot. He's always switching back and forth in his videos between being himself and doing some wacky character.

  • You definitely figured that program out, well done!

  • @snowlionud Thanks a lot :)

  • Far out man thats some nice work

    these always spin me out

    TOP STUFF AGAIN!

  • @CurrentlyDisconected Thanks a lot. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

  • This has to be one of my favorites in the series... Awesome work! ;~)

  • @rgman66 Thanks a lot! :)

  • @kjlg74 Is this one of your own programs, or if not, witch is it? I wouldn't mind having some fun with it. ;)

One other thing also...I've been bringing old machines back to life and installing Linux op systems on them, I'm becoming a big fan of them over windows OS. I haven't tried yet, but will 3DVCE run without using wine, etc...it would be nice to basically dedicate a system to it, as I seem to have an abundance of machines now lol.

  • @rgman66 The animation was done with "synfig" which is free software. Get it from synfig.org.

I used to work on the development of synfig. There's no "contempt" for the user, but the interface really isn't very much fun to use for anything complex. I'd be interested in reading the multi-page rant by kjlg74, since it could help with ideas for improving the synfig experience.

As I was watching the video, before I read the video description I was very impressed by what he had achieved.

  • @WhiteHenny It is very impressive, thanks for the feed back. ;)

  • @WhiteHenny Thanks, WhiteHenny :) Sorry I'm so harsh.

Don't take my negative comments too seriously - half of it can be chalked up to me just blowing off steam from the frustration of trying to produce results while simultaneously working my way through a steap learning curve. It's too easy to lose sight of the fact that people have put long hours and effort into the application. The interface does bother me, but there's no disputing the quality of the underlying animation capabilities.

  • @kjlg74 Don't worry, I'm not offended. But if you think it's frustrating to use now, you should have seen it a couple of years ago when as well as having a horribly complex interface it also used to crash all the time. :)

It would be useful to know what you found most frustrating with the interface, and any suggestions you have for how it could be improved. Even if it does take the form of a multi-page rant. There's a wiki on the synfig site where you can write whatever you like...

  • @WhiteHenny I'll try to remember to keep a note pad with me next time I use it and jot down issues and suggestions as I go.

  • @rgman66 LOL... I just looked up synfig so never mind the first part.

  • @rgman66 The animation software is not mine but it's free and open-source. It's called "synfig" and is available for Linux as well as windows. I gotta warn you - I find its interface horrid. It makes me want to pull my hair out ;P

As for 3DVCE, unfortunately, it won't run on Linux unless it's under wine. Sorry about that :( Perhaps you could do a dual-boot with Windows XP on a dedicated machine or something - just a thought. Good luck!

  • @kjlg74 I'll try it both ways and see how things turn out...

    Thanks, Lee. :)

  • that was awesome haha

  • @fcdog555 Thanks! :)
