That is one of the cleanest runs of that solo here on you tube (beside Petrucci himself, of course). I'm currently working on the solo and am about 45 seconds in, but still relatively sloppy. Great job, man. Very clean playing.

during the tap u have to make sure u pull off to the 12 fret E (which you did, but then make sure to hammer on all the notes back up to the A# before tapping again. if u no wat i mean. great job tho

The only mistake you made (if it really can be called a mistake) was in the 44th second (you got 2 notes wrong because it was transcribed that way in your tab). Otherwise it is a flawless run. Absolutely brilliant technique. 5 stars. This video should be used as an example of how to play that solo.

and with the whammy bar trill, its reversed, so dont put the bar away from the guitar but towards the neck

Thanks for all your comments! I'm using a yamaha SPX990 as a preamp. I get my EQ and multitap delays from this. I also use a TC Electronic G major infront of it for added touches like reverb, chorus etc.. I have a Behringer 1010 pedal controller to control everything, like delay mix and times, reverb mix, etc..and even my TT50 LANEY head which is midi compatible.
