I am from Sweden and has always liked Alfredssons way of playing. Having said that: It's a clean hit, shoulder to shoulder. I am sure it's the end of the change and Daniel is tired, forgets to have his "radar" on, and in the best league in the world that is what happends... nothing wrong with that hit according to me..

Isavji, watch all angles of the hit. The angle behind the blueline clearly shows, that whatever hit Alfie's head was covered in white. Hence, it was most likely it was his own shoulder pad that hit him in the head. Where you are seeing the elbow up must be a completely different hit altogether.

Actually, when you freeze at 1:06, Adam's shoulder is pretty high and at Alfy's lower head level. Let it play, and at 1:08, you see the shoulder making contact with the head in between that time. Reaching for a puck should not be free pass to put a shoulder to the head. The helmet does not come off from it's own accord, the shoulder hits the helmet off clearly, logically supporting the shoulder to face hit.

Yeah... no head shot should be considered clean - the terms just shouldn't go together. Just like you can't blame a person for turning their back to you as you board them - you pick up a penalty or major. The head being there should not make it a legal target - and Adams knew the head was there.
