Codex isn't dead in the U.S. I live in California and I can't find fresh, ripe, raw, or organic. I am a raw foodist at heart but am unable to digest the products I am given. The 'food" is simply intolerable. Codex is a trade commission and CA ships a lot of it's produce so they follow their standards for safety. I actually moved here to get good produce. There is none... The fruit is dry, little water, no flavor. Today at Safeway, all the grapes were pale along with the apricots, apples.

The safety law you mention has nothing to do with DSHEA. It is meant to combat food contamination such as salmonella and other bio and chemical toxins as well as foreign debris such as glass particles etc. Allergens in food are also covered. Your comment would have us believe that vitamins and minerals are not safe. The law is the law; let's not confuse supplements with real safety issues; such as deadly chemicals in food. Recall how Chinese pet food killed 30,000 pets in the U.S.

The name of the book is "Fight for Your Health: Exposing the FDA's Betrayal of America" by Byron J. Richards. Great book. I've read it. Some of the information is pretty unbelievable, but it's all true.

Codex Alimentarius is a big step forward to standarised food safety, still the differences eg. between the EU and the US will stay.

Codex Alimentarius is dead in the U.S. Congress unanimously adopted the DSHEA law in 1994 after massive public outcry against Codex. In 2007 DSHEA co-sponsor Senator Orrin Hatch called the FDA on the carpet and read them the law on supplements and told the FDA restricting supplements would not be tolerated. End of story, at least here in America. Biochemists know far more about nutrition than doctors. FDA approved drugs kill 100,000 Americans every year; these administered by doctors.

I managed to get a look at what the words said on that book in a previous video (I think the angle was a bit better). It's a book about how the events in the U.S. are playing out much like they did in Germany that led to the rise or Hitler. I'm assuming it refers to the current fear of Islam vs. the fear of Jews in Germany, the over looking of the constitution, which also happened in Germany, etc.

i say the same thing, but you have to admit they are not pushing government healthcare for no reason. by the time tey tag, spray, inject and process our foods completly there won't be essential vitamins in them to fight off a common cold or to scab up a cut.
