  • What does any of this have to do with obama? He can't control who decides to try and commit terrorist attacks. It's silly to say that nothing happened under bush's watch, but obama is letting anything happen or that more is happening under his watch. That'a like blaming obama because it rained yesterday

  • I agree, Obama is unable to stop everything, but under his administration, he has taken a relaxed approach. A great example is giving terrorist civil trials instead of putting them in war tribunals. I don't think anything will happen, but if some thing happens during their trials....like another terrorist attack then Obama is fully to blame and he should resign immediately.

  • Giuliani's words after he omited the 9/11 part:

"I usually say, 'We had no major domestic attacks under President Bush since September 11,'" he told Wolf Blitzer.

"I did omit the words, 'since September 11,' and I apologize for that," he went on. "I do remember September 11. In fact, Wolf, I remember it every single day and usually, frequently during the day."

But leaving the 9/11 part was kind of dumb on his part and he should think better before talking crap.

  • You are strongly requesting TJ to "think" before he speaks out. How about you give that same advice to Rudy?

  • The difference between Rudy's comments and T.J. is live discussion vs. pretaped and premeditated discussion. Let's also throw in the fact that T.J. called Rudy a lair when in fact it's pretty obvious that he wasn't. It's nice to see the T.J. fan boys out though.

  • @IdiotsGoneWild4life So if someone disagree with you over this subject is because we are fan boys instead of listening on both arguments and disagreeing with you... right?

    Interesting.

  • Apparently, listening is one of your strong points. I said I would only disapprove videos who call me a religious right wing nut job. However, I did say I would post dissenting views. If you disagreed with what I said, then feel free to do so and tell me why. If you can't do that, then simply do not post. Thanks.

  • Ok good sir, I will do just that.

    This is why I disagree.

I dont think that what Guliani did was in an honest manner. This is something pretty normal in political manipulation. Is the normal strategy of lying non stop, even when they are obviously wrong, that is not the point, the point is repeating until the minds of the audience are saturated with false information. I hold my opinion in the fact that this behaviour not just from Guliani but from very different sources has being happening since

  • I'll answer your questions per comments made. I do think Rudy answered in an honest manner and I don't see how he lied let alone pathologically. That's just my honest observation. If anything, he should have been clearer, but I feel that if anyone took a step back and looked at it logically, I think a fair person could fairly fill in the blanks. Obviously he meant post 9/11. He was there, he was a part of the chaos with the people in NYC that day. He didn't have to be.

  • CONTINUE: months now with the same pattern of repetition and reinforcement on the same concepts different members of the politic media are trying to implant on the audience.

I'm actually not english speaker like you have noticed surely by my terrible and broken writing, but the same thing happen in my country and I can see how manipulative politics and the media can be, how much influence they have on the audience. And this is why I disagree on your responde to the TAA's video. You focused only

  • I agree, a lot of lying and repetitive manipulation does happen in politics and in the media. But Rudy's a guy who is unhappy with the direction that Obama has taken. When Obama became elected, he told everyone to give him the benefit of the doubt. Like me, Rudy gave him the time and Obama screwed up. A big example is giving terrorists a civil trial. That is just beyond insane.

  • CONTINUE: you focused on the sarcasm of that comediant (TJ) by half of your video and after that you dismissed the lying by omision argument without really understanding how it works. Because is does not really matter if people remember or not 9/11, as you said people are not stupid. This tactic is all about implanting a "feel" on the public, a "statement" that surpases conscient reason.

  • TJ's comments were not just for comedy purposes. He seriously meant what he said, but he's using humor to convey them. Nothing wrong with that though. However, I disagree with TJ's argument about lying by omission. If it were Al Franken who said this about a Republican, the only video if any that we'd see from TJ is that of support. That's crap in my opinion.

  • In his video TJ also presented several cases of lying by omision on the case of the terrorists attacks and put Giuliani in the same group of media manipulation.

The fact that the guy didnt made his point clear could lead to the argument of lying by omision.

I have witnessed this same MO on the media of my country. And is actually the same MO religious groups use when facing the facts, just lie or omit certain information.

  • To me, it seemed that TJ was over analyzing and was using too much speculation to make his point. It's one thing to think that Rudy lied. It's another to full out claim that he lied.

  • And by the way, listening is certainly not your strong point, or at least reading is not, I never said you were DISAPROVING videos, I just said you were dismissing the oposite voices by calling them "fan boys"...

All that being said I like your channel so keep the good work.

  • If I misunderstood you, I apologize. It happens to the best of us. As for fan boys, I figured that the majority of dissenting opinions would come from his channel, seeing that it was where I posted my video response. Thanks for liking the rest of my channel. I think an honest independent mind cannot agree with everything a person says. Even people we admire. For example, Rudy is against legalizing pot. That is some thing I strongly disagree with. Thanks for watching.

  • I actually subscribed to your channel a little while ago when I saw your video Geerup: Freedom of Speech Hypocrite and Defender of VenomfangX in which you made really good points. So I got this video on my subscriptions box.

After reading your responses this is what I got to say, maybe you are right. There is not conclusive evidence to afirm the reasons for the omision, if it was something honest or with the intention of manipulation. I know little about the Obama administration, but the signs

  • CONTINUATION: ...of manipulation are present on the speach of certain politicians I have heard and especially in that terrible news channel you guys in the US have... what was it call? oh yeah, Fox news.

  • Fox News is slanted closer to the right. Anyone who thinks it's not is just biased or in denial. But I like Fox News. I enjoy watching Glenn Beck and The O'Reilly Factor. Not a big fan of anything else. Especially Hannity. I can't stand that guy. However, MSNBC and CNN are not any better. MSNBC makes CNN look moderate though. I've never seen a news show so far up Obama's ass that they have a gift shop dedicated to him. Unbelievable the kind of hero worship Obama gets.

  • Sorry, news channel, not news show.

  • A news channel has a gift shop dedicated to the president? Really? are you being serious or is this sarcasm?

The only news of Obama's administration we have got full coverage here is the entire Healt Care reform, and it's amazing to see how different news media give such contrasting reports. Some paint him as a kind of second coming and the other ones like the devil. Is like everyone is so obsessed into painting a picture on their side that they forgot about the real image of what is going on.

  • Yup, NBC has Obama merchandise. No joke. Obama isn't the devil, but people were treating him like the second coming. That's starting to wear off though due to health care, cap and trade, and other issues. There is a lot to criticize Obama on, but his birth certificate isn't one of them. If you haven't heard, people were questioning his legal status in the U.S. Just pure bullshit from a small group of people.

  • Obama's merchandise....So there it goes the imparciality and objectivity of the news...

I didnt heard about that particular accusation on Obama. But I'm not surprised about it. There's always people who uses baseless asumptions as facts to suport any point of view. And much more when dealing with politics when image is a big part of the politician's carrears.

  • I don't know if it's even possible to have complete objectivity. I've looked at news papers and other articles from World War II and beyond and there is always a slant. Obviously, news papers back then were in favor of the U.S. against Japan and Germany. Before the U.S. went to war, some acted in favor of joining the fight while others maintained an isolationist point of view. It's rare to find a source that has no dog in the fight and just reports the bare bone facts.

  • Yeah I agree there is always some part of opinion in the news, even if the more ethical thing would be to at least try to present all of the point into discussion...

But to sell merchandasing of a current president? that is just insane.

  • Yeah, imagine if Fox News sold Bush merch. The media outside of Fox would go bonkers and rightfully so. It's one thing to be slanted, it's another to outright endorse a President with merchandise.
