hello, when i edit hd video from my camcorder to my sony vegas the video size is 1280X720 and it tends to slow the down sony vegas. But when i edit a video that is 640x480 the sony vegas doesn't slow down. So how can i get a 1280x720 to precess fast while editing.

all you do is click the part of the clip you want to split, and hit "s" on the keyboard

Is there a way that this effect can be done on Sony Vegas 9 Platinum? My copy doesn't have a custom composite feature and definitely doesn't have masking. It's the $100 version, so I hope it can do this. Please, someone let me know it's possible.

around the guy, it takes forever... basically, anything you mask will have the bubbly texture... if you mask a rectangle, all you will see is a bubbly rectangle

Hi I was wondering if you could please help me. I am new to Sony Vegas , and I can't seem to adjust volume in a single audio file. There is a part of the clip that I want the volume to be all the way down, and then go up again. Is there a way to do this in Vegas 8platinum? I would really appreciate it if you can help. Also , when i try adjust volume on one track, all tracks are adjusted, is that supposed be like that? Hope you can help me thanks!!

i don't know what you mean by another screen....?

you have to put the "other screen" in a track above the "after" or whatever and for the "other screen" (sorry about the quote marks, i just like em :p) go to track motion and position it where you want!
