@francesco149 minecraft, read that clearly, its for mining and survival, the classic version is his 3rd stage in developement. he was testing every material, and and testing the engine. the players made it a (sandbox) was never intentional. i guess if u can call making houses and surviving a sandbox, but its survival :D

I run this with 2GB RAM and a Athlon Dual 2.1Ghz. Unless your computer is worse should should be able to run it easy.

TF2 was always a game that you needed a decent computer to run. However, people have found that over time, computers that ran it in 2007 can no longer run it now. How many of those people, or any others, have complained that the game is worse for this reason?

Anyways, my point was that people don't complain about a game's increased stress on the computer when the updates that caused it made it exponentially better. I used Team Fortress 2 as an example because it's gone through a similar massive overhaul, though other games would also work in it's place I suppose. The only one I can think of is Garry's Mod, but whatever.

@robotron26 Yeah, but there are a lot of blocks. Like, seriously, loads. And they are dynamic, which means you can't have a compiler do half the computation ahead of time like in most 3D games.
