  • What's the name of the music around 7:00?

  • @541099 The music is "Lion Heart"

  • @541099 It's by Emancipator.

  • What a brilliant documentary, shows off Muay Thai to perfection. Well done to the presenter, great job.

This shows the sport to a real art form, and these Thai fighters are in a class of their own. I just hope that Thailand keeps producing such fighters.

Great film, more of these please.

  • One of my idols.. Haha I never seen that kind of jumping teep thing O.o I used that when sparring and actually very affective! :D

  • Can somebody tell me, whats the name of the music which starts at 1:40 min

    pls (=

  • Yod is really stocky right now ... he is wanting to fight bigger Farangs. Dr. Seanchai is back in Bangkok and getting ready for his big Fight in England. Hook up with me training with him at FaceBook = "Muay Thai Missions". ;-)

  • How can 5 people not like this?? Are they gay?

  • my favourite guy on 4:30..I could watching him all day long , he's just perfect, muscles, strength .. I want you Master to teach me Muay Thai for good! so fine guy..

  • good song what is it?

  • Comment removed

  • i agree with what he said about traditional training tec. traditional trainning brings out the true fighting spirit of a fighter.. great documetary

  • This is my favourite documentary ever.

Makes you want to train and fight harder than ever before.

But on a subtler note, it also humbles you and gives you a new found respect for these Muay Thai Heroes.

  • I'm not sure what the trainer with the pads is being paid to soak up all those kicks but it's not enough.

  • great video! I really enjoyed it!

  • This was a pretty cool doc. Love the shots, interviews and the music/ beats, they went very well with this. Saenchai is a Legend man. Respect to all those fighters keeping Muay Thai alive.

  • would anyone like to tell me the 3 names of the fighters

  • @kgtone01 yodsanklai fairtex

    anuwat kaewsammrit

    seanchai sor kingstar

  • "no doubt pound for pound best Muay Thai fighter"

  • Please don't mention Muay Thai and Capoeira in the same sentence. Pointless argument.

  • in muay thai, there are people who is born with certain skills.. they don't luxurious gym.. fancy facilities.... its pure talent.. Saenchai and Buakaw is an example of this

  • i thought over there they kick trees to cause micro-fractures which makes their shins strong like stone?

  • @NebunLaCap some do but it is more of an ancient thai boxing skill, not so much done now.

  • good video and commentary

  • wtf kick was that at 2:50 ? looks like something out of capoeira

  • @Jason1620 capoeira is the weakiest of any martial art, capoeira is just like a horse and muaythai is just like very fast motocycle.

  • @unimaculata LOL!

  • @MuayThaiViking trash white viking,loser.

  • @unimaculata wtf is ur problem? i thought ur horse/motorcycle comparison was funny and then u get all racist?

  • @Jason1620 capoeira is created by slave to protect themseves, just like a pig defending itselfe against a Lion.Muaythai is tokill.

  • 5 people obviously don't do Muay Thai.

Muay Thai is hardcore and awesome. Enough said.

  • Dude !!! I think Thai's are more STRONGER don't Fucking say that

    """(Chamillionator8)"""

  • anyone know who the best in thailand is now days??

  • yodsenklai was on muay thai contender ITV show, he won it

  • very nice documentary!

  • Sorry... the title of this video is wrong. The best of the best Muay Thai kickboxers are from the NETHERLANDS/HOLLAND. Dekkers, Kaman, Aerts, and a myriad of other Dutch are a lot stronger than the Thai's and run organizations such as K-1.

  • @chamillionator8 ) thats cause a heavy weight division in thailand is probably 105 pounds.

  • @chamillionator8 "run organizations such as K-1."

And again... pls dont tell me that you think that K-1 is a dutch organisation...

  • @chamillionator8 THE FACTS R THERE BITCH, THINK AGAIN WHEN U SAY DUM SHIT LIKE DUTCH PPL R BETTER THAN THAI PPL AT MUAI THAI,

Fadi Merza vs Narueon Fairtex ——- Narueon Fairtex Wins (Fadi gives up on 3rd round)

Menno Dijkstra vs Samranchai —— Samranchai wins on points

Rachid Belani vs Saenchai ——- Saenchai Wins on points

Dennis Scheindmiller vs Malaipet ——– Malaipet Wins on points

Hassan Ait Bassoun vs Anuwat —— DRAW

Andy Souwer vs Yodsenklai ——– Andy Souwer Wins on points after extra round

  • @shadenet2008 Anuwat vs Khamal _______ khamal wins on points

  • anyone notice that this guy has a nice set of teeth? lol kind of surprising that a top muay thai fighter who gets hit in the face so much has perfect set of teeth

  • senchai lost against chinese in china 03-06-2010,,shame...

  • @mattbody69

In Sanda rules ,shame on money's power

  • what great technique!

  • Super Video !!!

  • thai fighters have excellent kicks, knees and elbows but there boxing alone isnt that good. I trained in thailand and couldn't beat my challenger in muay thai but when we boxed ( just boxed ) I destroyed them. all fighting styles have there flaws even muay thai.

  • great documentary!

  • what school they train? anyone know's?

  • @ AMVShippu

I've seen muay thai fighters knock out black dudes as you call them.... remember something.. you can be as huge as you want but if you dont know how to use your body as a weapon then you're fucked up... Technique is the most important thing above all other things...

and yes Muay thai fighters especially the thais are the best strikers in the world whether people like it or not... Muay Thai rules!!!!

  • @mexmtk what about a big black dude with a knife

  • @mexmtk

the thais are the best boxers?

ive never been to thailand, but i practice in muay thai and know some people that already trained there(thailand) and the one thing you always hear:

thais got the best kicking, the worst boxing..

  • @moos14 say that to yodsaenklai, buakaw, pornsaneh, anuwat, bovy, saenchai, sudsakorn, khem, etc. becuase they all will knock you out with one good punch

  • @Ericwvm by saying that you prove that you dont know jack shit about the subject

  • @schmendriks why is that? u moron, plenty of thais have good hands, I think you dont know jack shit

  • @moos14 i think they mean boxers as in fighters, not literally "boxers"

  • @moos14 The worst boxers?.Damn your stupid.Look up BOXING REC and see how many great western boxing champions thailand has produced.Allmost all of them are former muay thai fighters.Lupe Pintor,Juan Meza,Manny Pacquiao,Humberto Gonzalez all knock out by former Muay Thai fighters from Thailand.

  • @mexmtk the thais have the best training, rlly all asians are build the same. When you see some fat mustled dude you think, oh he can knock me out easily. But the bigger you are, the easier you are to hit, and when "they" hit "they" hit hard.

  • A big black dude will still knock them midgets out,

    -peace!

  • dunt fink ppl realise ow dangerous these kick boxes r

  • @weavsta06

    i agree

  • The Most Dangerous Person, Is The One With Nothing To Lose!

  • @Scrazy0wnz

    Yep. Well said.

  • @44rumblefish (: Thanks.

  • This is a great documentary and Rob Cox is an excellent choice for the commentating he really knows his stuff!

    Anuwat,Saenchai & Yodsenklai are awsome!!!

  • Sechai looks like a beast. His style is amazing.

  • Last song is emancipator- Lion heart if anyone want's to know? :)

  • @simmo19801 no, but thank´s :)

  • @simmo19801 thank you so much

  • @simmo19801 thanks alot been searching for this song :)

  • thanks for sharing ,great. ELDARGROSS

  • Great documentary, great music!

  • thank you eldargross i loved this documentary, im training muay thai myself going in to my second year and i love studying tapes for techniques

  • bcuz

  • Classic Muay Thai is the most pure martial art IMO.

  • this is debatable.....why?

    what about wrestling?

  • Muay Thai is still practised today as it was hundreds of years ago. It does not use weapons, and utilises the 8 limbs of the body unlike boxing.

Again that is my opinion, as I prefer striking to wrestling.

  • Can someone tell me please more about that move they are doing that is like capoeira where they go up on one hand and kick? I would like to know more about this technique. Is it ever use din the ring?

  • Oh I see he said he is the only one to use it in the ring. I am surprised this Boran technique was never shown much in Jaa's movies. Damn I wish I could find someone who teaches classic muay in southern California.

  • its called a cartwheel kick. only 1 fighter i know uses this kick and that saenchai sor kingstar! i've seen him use this at the bell of the first round and drop the other fighter!

  • @landgabriel Like said in the video it is an ancient technique, that is not used anymore, because it isn't very effective in the ring. The only fighter who uses it now and then is Saenchai. I haven't seen any other fighter using it.

  • It is just used for demonstration/entertainment/play act. and its a knee not a kick. if this move were to be used in a match its just asking for a kick to the face then a KO.

  • Yod vs Buakaw would be good.

I like both, and I wouldnt like to say who would win.

Yod is VERY good, but the baukaw we see now is a dulled down buakaw.

With elbows and his clintch ability reallowed im sure the fight would be one to remember

  • NICE! :D

  • people overestimate buakaw because he whopped ass in k1, but reality is different.

buakaw is nowhere ranked near yodsanklai, its absolute nonsense to believe that.

knowing k1 does not mean knowing the real thaiboxing scene.

    things are alot different there.

  • fuckin good footage

  • Extremly good interviewer/host, it's obvious that he has been to Thailand for a long time because he really knows what he is talking about...

  • Yod would smash Buakaw. The Buakaw of today is not the same as he was in 2006, and Yod has gotten better and better.

  • Very nice presentation! Training Muay Thai was the highlight of my stay in Thailand.

  • i reckon buakaw would win

  • you reckon wrong my friend

  • i'm pretty sure he didn't, yodsenklai is awsome but buakaw is better

  • go suck another dick you k-1 fan

  • i actually h8 K-1

  • and buakaw has fought alot better opponets than yodsanklai has

  • how has buakaw fought better opponents? yodsanklai fought orono man, yodsanklai is a better fighter and if you can't see that, wait for the fight to happen

  • buakaw fought him too twice like yodsanklai.. both of them lost twice against orono... yodsanklai two times by ko (and tko) and buakaw by decision ... but this was very long ago

  • anyone know the name of the song that starts at 2:25??

  • Muay Thai FAM rocks!!

    SawazzzzzzzzDEE, DOC. ;-)

  • Man, these guys are so fast and strong, im impressed...

Must be painfull be a MT coach

  • Muay Thai is in my blood !!

    i love it !!

  • mine too

  • I really love this documentary, for how short it is.. it has a lot if impact.

  • anyone have an mp3 of any of the songs in the vids?

    thanks

  • than* ....yes i agree 100% my favorite fighter is fedor...hes now in strikeforce and was in affliction...hes the man...plenty of great fighters are in other companies that aren't ufc... its just ufc gave mma to america...ya would't wanna call it "grab ass" shit.

  • if you really loved mma you wouldnt call it "grab ass" shit.

  • there is more then ufc in the mma world

  • I love MMA and I am very excited about it's potential of Muay Thai in the USA, but the promoters and gyms are not there yet. This UFC 'grab ass' shit is killing American Boxing and there is absolutely no great contact sport here.

  • you love MMA but hate UFC ''grab ass shit'' ?

    ehm..

  • @MuayThaiViking mmgay sucks

  • @saweet999 why?

  • you make no sense

  • ... What?

  • the reason why the Thai's are the best strikers in the world

is because where most of the great fighters/most fighters (if not all) came from are the slums and ghettos and the only way to feed themselves and their families is to either study hard or fight full time. that dedication and love for their families drive them to train hard and become the best they can be in order to survive.

  • not much choices when you live in poverty in Thailand. You either become a fighter or a monk. You have to pay to attend school there.

  • That was beautiful. I'm not even being sarcastic b/c that puts everything in perspective for how much they have to put into all this as a true profession.

  • @Spectre671 best strikers? what have you been smoking?

  • @Spectre671

Thai's are not the best buddy. The DUTCH, AUSTRALIAN, and EUROPEANS fuck with THAI's. Thai's aren't strong enough.

  • @chamillionator8 dutch and europeans ???

pls dont tell me, that you think that dutch aren´t european...

  • @Spectre671 my friend the best strikers are the dutch boys.. ;)

  • @kickboxerk1 the best are the thai:) but i agree dutchs are good , dutch and thai's are the best in k1 or kickboxing ,thaiboxing etc.

  • @kickboxerk1 debatable.... :)

But yes some of the best are from the Netherlands.

  • @Spectre671 u are right they train very hard.Thai say beig a boy or man you must fight. In any small village any body could go to a ring and fight no need licence, this means 1000 and 1000 fighters in a village and the best of the best come out.

  • @Spectre671

yes youre right i train with a former lumpinee champion they are good as hell ive punched him like 3 times and he destroyed me 30 times haha but they are very friendly people !

  • unreal,keep tthem coming.

  • Seanchai FTMFW!

  • Damn Saenchai is fast! Very very nice technical skills...

2:45...or the meaning of "kicking with your hips" instead of "with the leg"!

  • You want me to break my leg?

  • just great !

  • Fantastic documentary

  • buakaw has never been the best figther inside thailand..... the maximum he got was ranked n. 6 on Lumpinee stadium.

  • thought he got ranked no. 2?

  • so? you could be #1 in lumpinee but if you can't make it outside int. levels. Soon ur name will be disappeard.

  • I agree he was never the best, though he was an omnoi stadium champ.

  • wonderful music/soundtrack in the end. Who is it ?

    Name of the artist please.

  • last songs called lion heart by emancipator

  • 5 star!

    Keep it up bro!!

  • What Emancipator tracks do they use during the Saen Chai segment? I know the last one is Lionheart............but what is the first one?

  • why?

  • buakaw is no longer recognized as one of the best in thailand

  • and why is that?

  • hE keEps losing l8ly..thougH he woN sUm maTches stilL noT thE saMe bUakaw as we knew.

dNt geT me wrNg bud buakaw is one of my Favs..

  • because there are better fighters

  • o0o0o shit i would love to see yodsanklai vs buakaw!!!! i would have to say i think yodsanklai would win!

  • yod would kill buakaw

  • Yes he would!

  • for sure

  • the last melody is lionheart by emancipator

  • thank u very much :)

  • Anyone knows the title of the last song og that video??

  • muay thai...the art of fighting!!!!

  • very nice doc

  • Thank you for this great documentary.

    five stars

  • Saenchai is by far the coolest Nak muay I have ever met. Buakaw.......not so much.

  • why? was buakaw a jerk?

  • buakaw is just real famous, so beating buakaw would make yodsanklai even more famous

  • jesus mother fkn christ kingstars kicks are so solid with so much power and speed!!!!!

  • Music???

  • Seanchai would be perfect for WEC, just needs to develop a ground game.

  • Crazy fighters..I hate fighting Southpaws..just like these guys..so awkward

  • fucken amaizing man old school training no show off ... great fighters'

  • the trainers are allways fat...

  • lol

  • ehh its really about the same hahaha

  • the name of the saenchai song is lionheart by emancipator.

  • Love the song when Sanchai Sor starts he's a great fighter

Anyone knows what's the name of the song

  • the song is Mr Cooper - Track 5.

His albums are amazing, summer tunes ya know?

  • Its called Number 5 by Mr. Cooper. I am still looking for the song title in part one when they start talking about Fairtex Pattaya

  • Good documentary, nice one.

  • 3:48 those kicks =O

  • amazing

  • anyone have mp3s of the songs used?

  • Tong Po would kick their asses!!!!!

  • NOONE CAN BEAT THE TIGER TONG PO!! LOL

  • yodsaenklai have a really goood chance of beating buakaw, because he have good hands and equaly deadly legs.

the only thing i see that might give yodsaenklai some trouble is buakaws height.

i would kill to see them fight
