No Point Du Hoc is a diffrent location "to the right of Omaha" these cliffs were around 200 feet high and steep. The men were orderd to climb the ropes while under mg and sniper fire. D-day did not just exsist on Omaha beach it was hell for every point the men had to take.

uhm yah im a ww2 historian and yes they did they scaled the bluffs at point du hoc to get up to a position where they were supose to take out 105 artillery raining down on omaha beach. sad thing is it turns out during the night they moved the guns so the rangers had to look for miles to find the guns

Yes, COD 2 does have good graphics if you put it on it's highest quality, considering that it came out in 2005. But, I had to put everything on it's lowest-moderate quality because I do not own a gaming computer/laptop and I have a lot of files/saved memory on my computer. But, the graphics do not, in any way, take away from the core of the gameplay. Seriously, it's one of the best COD games I've played so far (and I own COD WAW, MW, Big Red One, Final Fronts, and Finest Hour. It's amazing...

It's Point Du Hoc. It's west of Omaha Beach. We thought that they had guns up the cliff, but apparently the axis moved them further in-land. It was crucial because these guns could wipe out the invasion force on the other beaches. Point Du Hoc had more of a cliff, that's why you didn't see one in MoH because MoH was actually AT Omaha Beach.
