@todd987 2-4% isn't that much when you look at common cancer causes. Smocking increses the odds of you get cancer much more than 2-4%. So going in spce is safer than smocking for not getting cancer.

In present we try different vehicles in every medium(submarine, ships, motor cars, trains, airplanes and rockets), and they don't express an optimum garantee neiter for present nor for future. I follow of 50 years the realization of the russians and americans the penetration of the man in cosmos, but the realised progress is not good and sure, but very expensive, very heavy and dangerous.

we do not profit yet from colonization. because we still use chemical rockets whom are just extremely expensive to build. And therefore weve only orbited the earth so far. Once better rockets are invented, then well talk about transport.

No , by now we could have established a base on the moon, allowing us to mine the vast resources in metals and other minerals..We also need to be there before we can get to mars or build a space colony. The materials will come from the moon, much cheaper to transport materials from the moon than from the earth.

The moon is a vital step in exploring and colonizing the solar system..yet we haven't done jack shit in 40 years. We continue orbiting the earth like idiots.
