Very cool review! I wanted to support the Jag so much in 1994, but quality games never came. I remember beating the ninja god difficulty only to see a screen proclaiming you are a ninja god, wow! you really did it!!!...O.K. Lame! The A.I.or lack thereof, was the same for every difficulty setting, they simply programmed the CPU opponent to take more damage from your life bar when you were hit, such a disappointment at the time.
If you think this is bad, take a look at Double Dragon V for the Jag. That has to be the worst game for the system alongside White Men Can't Jump and Checkered Flag! :)
I can just imagine how ticked off people were when they finally got to the terrible ending for the first time. Have you ever played Kabuki Warriors for the original Xbox? If so, would you consider that worse, or not as bad as this one?
ok I do say that this game maybe is a little bad. But its not that bad! The graphics are nice, the moves flowing and the character select screen is an awesome and fresh idee. And the best part about the game is that you can be a Ninja!! How awesome is that!!!
This game is hilarious, I actually pull it out to show friends just to laugh. The character Danja was actually going to be named "Africana" I believe. This game is chalk full of racist stereotypes from the kilt wearing Angus, to Pakawa the native war chief. Even the announcer is a stereotype...Its soo bad and terrible I cant stop laughing... ALTHOUGH, when I was a kid and this game had first come out, I thought it looked amazing graphics wise.
For some reason I get a good laugh when you trash on a game! Great review! I think you should review Rise of the Robots somewhere in the near future. I remember when that game came out, people were hyped about the graphics but were sorely disappointed with that game. It might have been the most disappointing game to come out for its time.
....I can't believe people would recommend a review for Kasumi Ninja. I bet it makes a great coaster. Or give it the send off it deserves, a hammer to smash it to pieces. And remember to "Show no mercy!" Another great review Bracey. ^>^
After seeing this I am starting to think that Kasumi Ninja for the Jaguar and Doomsday Warrior for the SNES are on a level all their own. That level being down around the watching paint dry as fun category.

Yeah, it's not a particularly great game. I guess on the plus side though, it plays better than Shadow: War of Succession on the 3DO. ;)
