for the ronaldo free kick all you need to do is lean forward and get alot of power on the ball! Once you get alot of power the ball travels fast and raises but because your body is leaning forward the ball quickly dips. its an amazing technique

at 3:03 you really suceed. the good thing is you get them to lift high early and then the knuckle-slightly sideways-dip takes over and gets it down. the thing is not to get to much rotation on the ball (sounds strange i know), just to make it rotate slowly, and with much power in behind the shot it will "dance" in the air. great!
