You know, even though I like this movie, I'm not huge on it. I like it though. I love the look, the strangely peaceful and relaxing soundtrack, the mysterious Rick Deckard played by none other than Harrison Ford. I like it, but I'm not a huge fan. However, I love the major aspects about it. Maybe when I read the book I'll have even more appreciation for it.

One thing that excites me so much about this film is how closely soundtrack and film relates to each other. Both film and Vangelis' soundtrack make a some sort of resonance and the entire "noir" world emerges in your head. The beauty and depth of this film is highly underrated, I believe.

My God, I walked in Disney Paris and heart this movie song. I instantly got the chills, because it's one of my fav pics. Unbelievable, Rutger Hauer, Harrison Ford, the beautiful Sean Young. It brings back all the memories. What a sensual song!!

I love the sax in this number. You could almost see Dekker and Rachel getting it on after he tells her to tell him to kiss her. I'm sure if they made an updated version mabey with that guy who played Batman Begins as Dekker and Eva Mendez playing Rachel.

I didn't like this movie because the plot moved so slowly and I was bored even during the action sequences. What I did like about this movie was the music and some of the visuals.

@sidhawk I have to admit i watched this movie in Philosophy when i was in high school, during the questioning of Rachel i fell asleep and im not sure why, my brain just kind of zoned out, but when i woke up Ij ust saw Rutger Hauer sticking his head through a wall and sayinh "i smell you" or something like that. needless to say i woke up both creeped out and confused! I'll probably give it another go and watch it all sometime though.

For them, however, it was segregation of sentient robots and humans. Deckard agreed with them, but had to put them down for (a. a string of murders, and (b. he was under "threat" by his boss.

I got about 85% - highest mark in my 3 degree for a written assignment. My father took me to this movie when I was about 13, it rocked both our worlds...and my dad is very fussy about movies.
