I am a Trans woman and Ii really hope they pass the law so I may be able to find work. I do have some money to help with the bills but it's not enough. I agree if I felt comfy in the work place and not feard getting fierd or being harrased I would work harder and better

threadysparrow, Our country was founded on the principle of Life, Liberty, the Pursuit of Happiness or Equal Protection Under the Law for all citizens, not just some. To insinuate Democrats, or anyone, who supports these principles are pro Nazi, is absurd. It just goes to show how ignorant some people can be. Sen. The last time I checked this country is supposed to be a Republic. Which means the majority views might move the country along but it should also support and protect the minority as well. Far too many would wish their views advanced at the cost of someone else's freedom. ENDA is as right a thing as any Bill that has come along in the last 50 years. Those who oppose it so strongly best check to make sure their white robe and pointed hood is not showing.

I am always amazed at the people who bring up Nazi charges lack the understanding of the political spectrum. Nazi or Fascist is an extreme right wing on the political spectrum therefore far removed from a Socialist view which is more of an ultra Liberal position. Under Fascist type government anything like tolerance for a given religious view or lifestyle would not be allowed. Any extreme view can result in a lack of acceptance of any view point that differs from the majority in power.
