  • When you chose the Dell Ultra Sharp display, you didn't look very hard for a lower price: A Samsung S27A850D costs only $799 and a DoubleSight DS-275W will run you $814. I pulled that up in less than a minute, and it lowers the price of the custom built by $200. If the rest of your comparison was equally sloppy, the result cannot have much validity. Besides custom building is all about choice and upgradability: Two words which don't exist in the iDictionary.

  • @MrMobilePerformance FIrst of all, the main problem here is your apparent inability to check the date this video was up. What you did in a minute is completely irrelevant to the facts of.....SIX MONTHS AGO. Obviously, you're question of my video and its validity is completely null and void.

Second, this was not sloppy research. Before I recorded this video, I searched up each part at least three times over. I don't count sales.

Third, Mac Pro. Apparently, that doesn't exist in your dictionary.

  • 300 bucks is a big fucking difference, some of us don't shit money you know. I also don't see the point in shelling the extra for a mac...

  • @eduardo13rocha Yeah, it's the difference between buying something because you have the immediate money and waiting for something that may be better. You don't see the point because you've most likely been biased against Macs ever since you saw the price to gain entry. Good day.

  • @AreMacsOverpriced If you need something immidiete why go for a mac anyways? You don't need all the extra stuff that comes with a mac...

  • @eduardo13rocha Because most people can live without buying the first computer they see at wal-mart. Most people can do just fine by waiting a month or two to save up for the computer that may just be more worth the price. If I don't want a hassle to find out how to use my computer, I may want to consider buying a Mac. Mac makes a lot of sense to a lot of people.

  • 2500k 4ghz

    asus p8p67 pro

    gtx 560ti super oc

    12gb corsair vengence

    650w Corsair psu

    I think you lose sir,

  • @Amuffin456 Lol, no, I didn't lose. All you proved is that you can't read or follow a video. The iMac is more than just the computer. It's a display, speakers, wifi, Bluetooth connections, web cam built into a computer. It's not about raw power, its about what you get for your money.

  • @AreMacsOverpriced How come i can get all of those and more plus the computer parts for less than what you paid for your imac?

  • @Amuffin456 I don't believe you've even done the math, sir. Instead of building the computer YOU choose, match an iMac in parts, spec for spec. Any tech-savvy human should be able to do this. Problem is, most of them see a 6970m and say: "I can build something WAY more powerful than that" and forget that there's a display in the computer. The display itself is $999, and Samsung sells it. So, instead of wasting breath telling me you could build something cheaper, why don't you actually do it?

  • @AreMacsOverpriced Which one, I will make a video, first tell me which imac you would like me to match parts for parts.

  • @Amuffin456 The same one I built in this video.

  • Comment removed

  • @Amuffin456 Yeah, you'd better remove that comment, jackass.

  • @AreMacsOverpriced Which comment? Also I just made a machine with a 2600k 4ghz, noctua nh d14, 16gb corsair vengence, Cooler Master Haf X, 1000w Cooler Master Psu, 2 gtx 560ti's Super overcock in sli, an asus maximus IV z68 motherboard, 2 tb western digital black edition hard drive, a 256gb corsair ssd sata 3, and logitech keyboard and mouse. You save about 400 dollars.

  • @Amuffin456 Well, I'm going to have to correct you already on a couple of things.

First of all, the iMac has an i7-2600, not an i7-2600k. I never said it had the 2600k. The 2600k has Intel's 3000 series graphics, the 2011 iMac has the 2000 series. I see you really don't pay attention. Second, you were asked to match spec for spec. Is that Logitech keyboard a slim keyboard? Is that logitech mouse a touch-sensitive mouse? I picked these because they come with the computer.

  • @AreMacsOverpriced the only real advantage the imac has is the screen which is pretty nice but since most pc users would be gaming with it a 6850 wouldnt cut it. to me its just not worth the extra 1000 bucks for desktop use. bluetooth and the keyboard and mouse? Who uses Bluetooth on a desktop? and the apple keyboard board and mouse licks balls, most mac users dont even like them. i honestly dont know how anyone can say the magic mouse is better or just as good as a razer mouse or something.

  • @steven4570 You're not paying $1000 extra. A 6850 is more than sufficient for a gamer lol. Alienware laptops have them lol, well the 6970m. The point is to match them spec for spec. It's not about what you can build it's about matching spec for spec. I love my Magic Mouse and Apple keyboard and I have a Mac Pro (Meaning I do work on my PC). Besides Lion works best with the4 Magic Trackpad. It's way better than any mouse under Lion.

  • @AreMacsOverpriced not at the imacs native resolution. Otherwise for gaming purposes you might as well run a standard 1920 x 1200 or x 1080 monitor. Alienware laptops dont go up to that high of a resolution either. the imac has certain features like wireless and Bluetooth among others that i couldnt care less about. with a custom build you get everything you want and nothing you dont.

  • @Amuffin456 In any case, just make the damn video. Till then, you're spouting bullshit.

  • @AreMacsOverpriced k lemme up load :D
