I don't think that's weird. everything going on in this movie is the norm to me because I love Fantasy, Vampires and metal music. Just like the death of Brandon lee, regardless what really happened it is tragic.

I agree. Aaliyah will be missed terribly. After all, she was one of a kind -- gentle and kind, and she had a love of vampires ever since she was a kid, and she also had a love of Egyptian artifacts as well. Plus, like Akasha, she was beautiful and sexy, but unlike Akasha, Aaliyah was kind and very gentle, whereas Akasha was evil and kind of a spoiled brat because she was used to getting whatever she wants.
