@flipzhat twist your shoulders clockwise if goofy, counter clockwise if reg, once you go 180, and you will complete the slide, with enough speed

@zsk8t3rb4ll3r I've got the Lush Freeride Gloves, here in Germany they cost about 40€ but in the USA I think you'll get them for 35$ or something like that. Those are some really good slide gloves! Or build them on your own, it's cheap and not very hard.

@longboardguy94 Yeah they should be great like KickingMilk says - I'm rocking 80as on my freeride board and I can slide fine. It's all about commitment. Don't be afraid to go just a little faster either as the worst that happens is you'll fall. And you really don't want to be a guy who's never fallen, do you?

So, here's my issue. I can always go the first turn, but then my board just keeps on going up the hill, instead of pendying back. Am I going too slow or what? I feel like I'm not explaining enough here. Okay, so I'll go down the hill and crouch. Hands down, I start to slide around and it just keeps going up. Like a Coleman is what it feels like. Also, sometimes my board just slides down and doesn't go at all. Help? Much thanks in advance.

@Calvarez1932 No, it has to be green, with 100a wheels, and has to be made by either Rayne, Landyachtz or the soda factory.

I recommend the Soda Factory. Also, if you want to go THAT much faster, you must also wear green. Green helmet + green leathers + green shoes + green longboard + green trucks + bones greens + otang greens will make you the fastest longboarder ON the planet.

@bbenavente25 I have a dervish flex 1 with purple durians and black velvet slide pucks, and this trick was doable for me. They don't really mention that you have to unweight your board, but this is of the utmost importance. If you can 180 standup, its a similar feeling, except the weight goes on the gloves. It helped me to try the trick when the ground was wet, just to get the feeling of it.

@kilmon3 Do you mean longboard wheels? Its what theyre called haha. Not really,all wheels are slidable. But somewheels are wayyyyyy easier to slide than others. For sliding wheels look for harder duros,such as 75a softer,and harder to slide. 86a is very hard,and easier to slide. Also,look for round lipped wheels.

@homerman001 With good wheels and good speed, yeah its possible. You can do the first 180 of the trick easy on a dervish, but if you want to do it fully and bring it back, youll need more speed because the first 180 will really slow you down and it might help to learn the 180 pendy switch so you can bring it back easier. And i think theyre riding tracker trucks.

@mysteryking619 a harder wheel with a higher duro. Like 83a. You can slide with any wheel, as mine are 78a and i slide but it is a slicker easier slide with a harder wheel
